no clue ... I believe you will have to buy a new receiver as well. :( sigh We will find out more about these rumours in the next few days. I will keep you updated.

ok here everyone...here is the scoop. Most FtA are back up again. FtA will alwayz stay in business, its a multi million dollar industry. Yesterday all dish's went down as there were some changes to the Nagra 2 key's which got changed.
Coolsat 4000 Pro fix is now available! So far there is no current fix for the Coolsat (old), Cooltec, Pansat 5000HC and Maximum 2500. We expect Coolsat to get their act together and release a new fix by the morning, which means a Cooltec fix will be right behind. We should also see the new Pansat 5000HC fix very soon and the Maximum 2500 shouldnt be far behind. All other FTA receivers should up and running because the new keys are released already.
Mehnaz, Sadiyah and whoever that requires fix's for their FTA, there is alot of information online on google how to fix up ur recievers. I can send u the steps if u tell me the name of the reciever u have.

Well i ordered one almost three weeks ago just got the tracking # so hope to see it by this friday, Will post some results here. I also heard that its been down since yesterday caz of the key change and AVR-X software hasn’t been released so fingers crossed that they don’t run away with all the money.

Got my AVR-X today will do some testing tonight also Rom10 are Alive again THat is currently working tried it on few receivers

in montreal a lot of ppl starting using the U.S. system, get a dish here, sumone in the states has one too...u pay ur share of the bill? but a few of my freinds just got that little black box thingy (no idea how that works), and sum are gettin the cards back now too

Bev (bell express vu) fix is now out for all FTA recievers... u can download it/patch it.....turn ur sattelite to appropriate signals and walaahhh..u get true canadian local channels! finally i can watch my breakfast television :)

Are Geo, ARY, and PrimeTV working right now? If I want to receive those channels all the time should I get fta or atmega? Does the 2005 model of fortec star lifetime ultra pick up dish network channels?
