its about to go down perhaps? I’ve seen alot of people complainting on other msg boards also about other channels that they constantly watch. I did a rescan of all the channels yesterday and mine are working just fine. I guess they switched the numbers or they should be back up again by tommorow

Although I've have a different receiver, but I use the .bin files for Fortec Ultra.
Are the files available or would we have to wait?

Btw... I did a rescan and I no longer see ARY and PTV Prime on the channel list anymore. What's up with that?

sadiyah..maybe ur sattelite moved...i can tell u how to get back ary and ptv back manualy. Ur transponder lost its frequencies...if doing a bLIND scan doesnt help again then ..u can try this method also.
Goto ur options and do a manual scan for these frequencies
TP(26):12588
if u dont have that transponder id suggest u add it and rescan it. It should pick up all the channels associated with that frequency which is ARY, PTV, B4u, MBC, Dubai etc. etc..

ARY and PTV (and others) have moved to different transponders. For me they are on tp 12326 so just do a scan that and see if you get those channels back. For you or someone else it might be different so also try a full rescan of echostar 3.
If you have a viewsat vs2000 platinum reciever then there is a particular problem with the reciever and tp 12326. It doesn't pick up the channels from that tp even tho your signal and quality might be greater than 80% or something. For this you have to load a factory .sat file and rescan. The only problem with this method is that you will get the channels in as echostar 001, 002 etc. and not their proper names and numbers (ex PTV should be "PTV" and on 616). Basically you will have to wait for a fix which I'm sure should be released soon.

i have a fortec lifetime ultra..i thought i had downloaded the bin file, but now my flu doenst even turn on!! i killed it!! I will give it to my friend to fix it....but next time when the flu is down, can somebody automaticallyl send me the bin file?? thanks loads!!!
