That was in the thread "Islam is a beautiful religion" in responce to another posters comment : Israeli girl....If Islam has impressed you, you must become Muslim. Why.....because as per Islam there is no God other than Allah, so one must not remain in some other false religion and praise Islam at the same time.
So instead of touching on any of the beautiful aspects of Islam you chose to condemn them both to hell. I suppose that is your way of communicating how beautiful Islam is. But if as another poster said uncontested (except by me) in this thread that the only way your prophet spread Islam was by threatening people with hellfire, I suppose it is no wonder you had nothing else to contribute other than invitations based on avoiding hellfire.
If you fill that strongly to condemn people who don't agree with your view to hellfire and have no other way to address a non-Muslim praising Islam, perhaps you should resign as moderator. How can you possibly moderate disparate point of views regarding religion when your answer is everyone else is going to hell?

a wise man wud see that the first reply was directed to the perso who posted the stupid comment, and all the nagging after that was just foolish ppl making an issue of nothing, and for those who wish to drag it, i will as i said earlier, keep replying that Quran states that disbelievers will most definitely burn in hell for eternity....

I still don’t get it, when someone doesn’t believe a book, why are they bothered so much about what it says about them? I said it earlier and I’ll say it again, if a follower of any other religion walks upto me and tells me that I’ll goto hell if I didn’t follow his religion, I’ll just listen to him and not care about it as I believe in my own faith… why’d their pants be on fire? Are they scared in their hearts hence the fire?

Because instead of crying to admin, I am appealing to YOUR humanity and understanding of what a moderator of a religion should or should not say to those of other faiths, particularly those who were trying to convey that they find Islam a beautiful religion.
And btw, how is If Islam has impressed you, you must become Muslim. Why…because as per Islam there is no God other than Allah, so one must not remain in some other false religion and praise Islam at the same time any more stupid than your comments? It’s basically saying the same thing without the hellfire portion thrown in.
The point isn’t whether or not Muslims believe non-believers will burn in hell, it’s whether or not as moderator you should be putting forth that point of view when there are people of many faiths posting here. There should be certain obligations that come with moderator, perhaps first and foremost to respect other faiths.

Who says?? God, Allah, Jehovah, all the same diety, just a different name. The prophets were appointed by man and are a path to God/Allah… not Gods in and of themselves. Since all God wishes is his children to be close to him, does it really matter to Him how they arrive?? No, it doesn’t, it only matters to man.
Honestly, I really don’t care what Islam says about my beliefs, they are mine. But to proclaim all non-Muslims are going to hell in a blanket statment is arrogant, then to be affronted when someone calls you on it is just plain … oh, can’t think of a good word here… but stupifying comes to mind.
Arrogance is a sin of man. Being judgemental in areas that are God’s alone is a form of arrogance and (taking it a step further) absolutely none of your business. My faith and religion should be no concern of yours and neither should my soul, whether it go to heaven or hell.
The problem with thinking like this is that it seeps into your dealings with other non-Muslims. If you think it doesn’t, trust me, you’re fooling yourself.

Not even a week ago I was replying in a thread to Pakistani’s who were supporting the right of killing any that do not convert to Islam in Islamic countries or any that are not Muslims…
I am not even going to mention the stories I have heard from Muslim Pakistanis NOT Americans about Muslims accusing Christians in Pakistan of saying things against the Prophet/Islam just because they were a rival in business. What happens then? No matter how much the Christian protests, his word mens nothing against a Muslim. Is this right?
These are not lies.
Just because one says he is a Catholic, a Muslim, a Jew, etc. does not automatically elevate him to the stature of a Saint or a perfect person or confer apon him automatic honesty and character.

As I see it right now, from some of the posts, only Muslims are feeling the need to put down other religions and people for that sense of unity and pride one SHOULD get from good works and confidence in their religion.
I have no rage, therefore am not condemning you to hellfire or even presuming that I know the mind of God/Allah. That I leave to you and ones like you.
It is a shame that you cannot see the way you seem to be to others.
Judgements over who goes to hell and who doesn’t should be left to God/Allah and God/Allah alone. He is the ONLY one who has the right to decide that, no mere man does. And you, my friend, are a mere man alongside God/Allah.
