Re: Did your mother-in-law…?
^If i had a choice, i’d go for white/off-white/creme for the walima…i think it is soooooo elegant and classy…but :sigh: not all dreams come true…
P.S. I need to STOP visiting the wedding forum, makes me depress ![]()

Re: Did your mother-in-law…?
^ i woulda had a deep dark rich emerald green ![]()
Re: Did your mother-in-law.............?
I either wanna pink n gold, white n silver or lilac and dull silver. not sure:p
Re: Did your mother-in-law.............?
^ how abt lilac and pink with gold and dull silver??
Re: Did your mother-in-law.............?
lilac and pink together would get too flowery for me:p lol
Re: Did your mother-in-law.............?
i had tan with bits of green and i'm still fully satisfied with my choice :) even when i was little, i never envisioned myself as a "red" bride... it was always some light color. plus, i got married outdoors in august- can you imagine wearing red or dark pink in that heat/daylight?? yeesh.
Re: Did your mother-in-law.............?
^same here..i've been dreaming about my wedding for years and i've NEVER wanted to be a red bride
Re: Did your mother-in-law.............?
^^ gasp! acha? :p
I always envisioned red on baraat day. Valimay ka I just decided a few weeks ago:p lol
Thats cool though... no matter what color u wear, brides always shine :)
Re: Did your mother-in-law.............?
Yeah, I always envisioned red around my face at least, if not all over the outfit. That was the one disappointing thing about mine. The gharara is a brilliant shade of red but the shirt and dupatta are green with a thin red border.
Re: Did your mother-in-law.............?
^^true... I always thought red would be "the" color. And now here I am with sketches and swatches of fabric. Very excited!!:D
I've always wanted to be a "red" bride, but realized that red is such a tricky color! I think my parents wud disown me if I chose PINK!
Re: Did your mother-in-law.............?
Hahaha... I am stumped for what 'kind' of red to wear. I gravitate towards the deep red and also towards the bright red. Lol... I have it down to 2 swatches and now the heard part starts:( what do I pick:p lol
Gina, What did you wear/gonna wear for your wedding? Colors, I mean.
Re: Did your mother-in-law.............?
^ Why not use both in your outfit?
Re: Did your mother-in-law…?
I HAVE to wear red…otherwise my hubby will pout for the rest of his life… ![]()
Re: Did your mother-in-law.............?
ooh chanda you would look really good in it too! Btw whens the rukhsati? Is it soon?
Re: Did your mother-in-law.............?
yeah chanda, you'll pull the red off really well mA-- i think i'd pout too if you didnt wear it :p
Re: Did your mother-in-law.............?
i so never wanted to wear red..... and i really never had pink in mind..but i guess it was natural considering i'm a pink freak :@:
Re: Did your mother-in-law.............?

Re: Did your mother-in-law…?
