Great Ashir do it from PTV. but do it world class. use three cameras in the outdoor shooting. and do not put more masala or glamer like private channels are doing.

Having seen so many people here with so many questions, i thought it appropriate to thank U for ur interest in Dhuwan. To answer some of the questions that are being repeatedly asked: I will be doing another play around the end of this year. i have done nothing after dhuwan because I was busy with other things. yeah I remember that, it was one of the few PTV dramas I liked actually. Nothing like typical FILMI situations or drama, and very realistic script and story line. It did reflect some thoughtful mind behind. :bigthumb:

Plus Ashir,Do take some undisputed topic,i mean dont make the drama in fav/against Talibanisation or Pak Army operation in Wazeeristan(saying cos u mentioned Afghan Army) cos making a drama on a disputed topic will make ppl against u...plz dont do anything like shoaib Mansoor....Like what he did in KKL..he destroyed his respect in most of Pakistanis hearts....

"some element of death" is fine, as long as you are killing the bad guys :p
but please don't be do hard. i love dhuwan since i was 6 or 7 years old but i am always too scared to watch it because it is very depressing. alteast give us a happy ending.
and PLEASE DO NOT KILL YOUR CHARACTER.

when the hero dies he becomes immortal. Tragedies are more emotionally engaging and everlasting than other genres.

i don't care to see an immortal hero, to me it's kind of like hopelessness that no matter what good you do, in the end "the bad" takes over.
i just don't wanna cry my eyes out. i think we would have loved all 5 dhuwan guys same even if they had survived.

i am sorry deejah i don't agree, well actually i do agree a little, if it was only dawood's death, that would have been ok. But all main character dying is a bit too much.
all of us remember alpha bravo charlie, not everyone died in the end.
what about sunhere din, almost everyone know about sunhere din and NO ONE died in that drama.
but i love this drama the way it is even though it makes me really depressed but dhuwan is so good that i think it worth the depression :biggthumb but my request for the next drama is to give us something to be happy about in the end. something to hold on to.

Will another drama ever grip the nation like Dhuwaah did; It was something special! PTV gets so much finger pointing but at the end of the day it has had some gr8 productions.

speak for yourself... as far as I remember, the movie was a hit with the masses - except the hardcore religious fanatics... you'll even find dozens of posts here on GS praising the movie. Of course, no one's denying some of the debatable finer points in the movie, but overall, it was a movie par excellence!
