Pakistan needs to have the Army under civilian control.

However the Army like to control Pakistan.

This is the biggest reason IK will not be able to change Pakistan as he say’s he wants to.

But army will trust IK because he is an honest man, The army never trusted Zardari (infact very few people in Pakistan apart from brain dead jiyalas trust Zardari)
If IK wins most people apart from the jiyalas will be happy… but god forbid if PPP wins again in 2013, then the threat of another coup a few months or years down the line becomes very real IMO. Pakistan just cannot afford another 5 years of misrule.

Let's not be naive.

IK has never shown any great politcial skill, and will not be able to bring these greedy General's under control.

IK may do better for a little while, but Army propaganda will start against him if he takes on their corruption and killings.

Pakistan will always live in the shadow of these corrupt Generals.

That means nothing. His stance is still the same as previous regarding submitting replies in supreme court without the approval of the government. Now it is time to sake both of these without further delay. Let army take over if it want as they have been doing previously. The nonsense of “aadha teetar aadah batair” should be stopped.
