It’s unprecedented that a political govt. is trying their best that some unconstitutional action should be taken against them and judiciary/army is trying their best to protect the present govt. Let’s see what happens as this has never happened in our country..

The 111 brigade is very important for the army chief, as all the coups are launched by this brigade. It would be difficult for the army to resist on this action.

Whether you like PPP or not, it is important to assert the principle of civilian control over the Army.
Next elections are a year away at the most, people can vote to say who they want.

Triple one Brigade commander is appointed by Army who are the only one’s who can sack him. He has been changed by the Army, not by Gilani.

**Army Chief has called an emergency meeting of Principal Staff Officers tomorrow (Jan 12). **
According to Dunya News, an urgent meeting of Principal Staff Officers has been called by Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani in Rawalpindi on January 12, 2012.Few moments earlier, Brigadier Sarfraz Ali was appointed as commander of 111 Brigade being a high-level change in the Pakistan military following allegations of filing illegal replies to the SC by the COAS and the ISI in the memo case by the prime minister.
Earlier, ISPR stated in a press release that the allegations attributed by Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilan against Army Chief Ashfaq Pervez Kayani and DG ISI Ahmad Shuja Pasha are very serious and there may be grave implications of his statements against top military brass.
