Word desi is used in Pakistan like

desi murghi

desi Unday
and desi ghee…all related to food.

So much for hoping I could somehow skip onto that particular reminder, but you’re right, some still do use that to differentiate between broiler (sp?) and desi stuff. But hey, I don’t eat them (desi ghee on roti rarely) hence maybe I could be spared from being called one?

Well we werent really arguing about anything, it was more of a discussion then anything else, or perhaps a simple case of exchanging personal views/opinions.
