^ yes and he is one such writer who somehow tends to meet the demands of some frustrated lot too, he maybe was among the earlier ones who wrote on the issue of homosexuality in suspence, which is quite a common and widely read digest too, even then, this much of boldness of expression seems much 'sharif' if compared with literature that is smutty and writen in other languages, (im nt particularising only english here, i feel it would b like im cursing the language) i believe all the readers have this particular class who enjoys such writings. What i myself have ever heard of 'somewhat bold literature' yes the names associated are that of manto and asmat chughtai, these were the people who had to face judicial consequences too, for their bolder expression as it was found in 'kali shalwar' and 'lehaf' respectively. I remember reading these short stories 4 to 5 years back, and honestly it wasnt an erotic expression but only a talk on taboos. Apart from that, my inadequate knowledge doest really allow me any name i could agree writing anythng sub standard or smutty. Maybe just as someone said above such stuff sells off the counters so not all but only specific readers can lay their hands on them, lol. But then again such literature exists and so it must in all languages. Then why to be so ashamed and etc that we know such a language?
