I agree. Then why expect your wife to be all decked up and looking her best when neither are hot, or especially when her significant other can't be bothered to put any serious effort in looking good for the wife.

I do not think any husband ask their wife to go to tariq road and spend loads of money... its a women nature to try to look good... what a lame excuse of spending so much money and saying my husband told me to do so....all my uncles and everyone i know groom themself other then only few odd people...

Could someone then explain why the two husbands nominated their wives to get a makeover in Makeover on ARY?
The wives already looked very good and the makeover made'em look fabulous, masha'Allah. However, the same cannot be said about their husbands.
Like I stated in my initial post, this thread's inspired because of what I saw in Makeover and it really made me sad.

Trophy husbands cannot exist, could you imagine if your husband was better looking than you? Every lass and her mother would be after him, and knowing how green eyed some women can get, it would not work. Men should stick to being rich and... yeh that's all...being rich.

You nailed it, M&M (or Smarties). Can you imagine the emotional abuse a poor man would have to endure if he looked/dressed better than his wife? He'd be accused of having a mistress, or looking for a mistress. Considering the level of distrust and insecurity displayed here by man-hating-guppans, he's better off looking ugly compared to his wife.

Sadiyah - that was the case maybe 20 30 years back but now a days wives demand that there husbands look presentable, which they comply with and those who do not … they are the odd one out.
Now 100% of the married females have claimed that thier husbands are nothing short of a greek god… Maybe they are braging and there is a possibility that their hubbys have a gorgeous round belly like dope … God knows it is a wild wild world.:bobo:
Now just as your demands that guys should groom themselves accordinly and all your *hamsheraas *(virgins) stand shoulder to shoulder but i see a double standard when a guy ask for tips or want to share their beauty routinesthis same hamsheera gang mock them like there is no tommorow and this is most hideous thing to do :rolleyes:
