How many of you are with me, when I say that Pinny uncle invented the whole story to vent out his three biggest gripes. (1) Cousin marriage, (2) pinheads going back home to get married and (3) dissing Pakistanis. Inverting the usual story-line involving a damsel-in-distress to make the guy the victim this time, is just an added touch to rub PCG.

Idiots, just because you live with this kind of thinking everyday of your lives, doesn;t mean we are all in the same boat. Cousin marriages, visa issues etc etc are your bailiwick..I am just reporting a scenario.
this reminds me f when I wrote a tale of a Pakistani doctor lady I know in NYC who lamented the dearth of Paki men with good pedigree and a progressive attitud towards relatonships, i.e. being with some one who is not like their mother.
People said th same thing that Faisal said. Even Roman..until he heard the voice mail. She is still single, hot and looking for a meaningful relationship. I am thinking about hooking her up with a Sikh friend of mine.

Pinny, we all know that the day after a long weekend can be a slow business day. So you came up (or reported) a nice touching heart-warming story. Good for you. I am sure tomorrow will be better.
That "still single, hot and looking for a meaningful relationship" doctor lady shouldn't be lamenting the dearth of paki men. Go ahead and introduce her to your sikh friends (spare Chanji, though, as the ultimate heart-ache may kill him) . That doctor lady should know that limiting the search (and consequent disappointment) over lack of good paki men is the first negative on her resume. How could she score high on your assessment scale when she has such a big negative. I am actually disappointed in your rating skills.

Minime bhaijaan, I had one of the best 4ths ever. I was at a Sikh/Gujju wedding. Maybe the second best wedding I have ever went to in my life. It was amazing to see people from two different traditions, co-mingle, share the love and dances. At one point, while the bhangra was in full force, gujarti women did their circle dance. It was magical. The food, the drinks, the friends...and to come back to NYC to watch the Fireworks from my apartment building rooftop was sublime. And no arranged marriages (that was for faisal) :D

This story is a perfect example for those who blindly believe in anything said against Pakistan or Pakistanis. People should learn how to defend these unenthusiastic propaganda makers, and should have discouraged them for making bogus and negative stories against a Nation and a Country. This is not something that can be ignored. It looks serious or sensational story, but the idea is nastiest and jagged to disguise Pakistani people and make them to think against Pakistani women.
I say the person should be banned for writing against Pakistani culture, Pakistani woman and writing false...
