Where do you live? If you are like 8 months preggers and trying to get in you most probably wont. Pluse If by chance you get in do you have medical insurance ? whos gona take care of your medical bills...I mean I dont know how wealthy you are but expect to pay HUGE $$$$$$$$ if you are not covered.

Re: delivery in US

Re: delivery in US

Well if you really want to go to the States, you should go as soon as you hit your second trimester. The longer you leave it, the harder it will be to travel. Not only that, but most airlines do not allow you to travel past a certain date in your pregnancy.

You will have a lot of swelling sitting on the plane for so long even if you try and walk in the aisles.

You also have to think of medical expenses and find a doctor who will be willing to take you on as a patient.

Re: delivery in US

you can rent a home, studio sapartment and county hospital will be good for you, but try to com soon, grl i think she can get free medical here in usa , like all mexcian woman does,

Re: delivery in US

If $$ is not an issue, you have a visa and you want to have your baby in the US, then the only logistics you need to take care of are: where to live, a doctor, and transportation.

You will have to look for a temporary living arrangement where you can get a short term lease, or an extended stay kind of hotel with a kitchenette. Then rent a car for the number of months you are here.

Finding a doctor shouldn't be hard online, or if you have families you know in the city of your choice, you should have enough help.

how soon?

i ve some relatives US national.but dont want help from them.
wht if i cant come very soon or i can come in end of 8th month?
will dr. s treat me or not?

how huge $$$$$$are?

Most major airlines will not take you as a passenger if you come very close to your delivery date as you become a liability for them and that is a risk. Airlines usually don't allow such passengers to travel even within the country (US) because of that risk. Since you are coming from overseas, it will be a tough nut to crack. Please weigh all your options accordingly.

Re: delivery in US

Here is a discussion of the cost of delivery, sounds like it will be around $10 thousand. There is really no “free healthcare” in the US…the mexican ladies that deliver here generate medical bills. Whether they pay their bill or not is another story. But someone who wants to return to the US legally and get new visas will surely want to pay their bills.

What is the cost of delivering a baby in the U.S? - Yahoo! Answers

Soon is before you belly start showing.

The only experience I have is with a friend's sister who came here for delivery at 7-8 months. She paid ober $10,000 in hospital bills. And 6 weeks after delivery, she went back. She said she was lucky to have been able to come here at that point of her pregnancy because even if you have a visitor visa, they have the right to refuse your entry into the USA.
