I went to see Junoon at the Royal Albert Hall last week, and they performed so so well........

Well, in Chicago, the bigger band i.e. Junoon went secondā¦ That stereo nation midget aka Tazz came in drunk, lip sung, and was booed off while the pakistan zindabad chants remained high, read the chicago concert pictorial, you will find alot of reviews. Khair, then the real band, Junoon came, with their live hot performance, and rocked the house! But that indian stereo fag wasted half the time!

2)speaking of Dewar the abcense of ashiq ali...to be honest he's built walls around himself because of
his substance abuse,The best thing to do was to give him a chance to find himself and go for a fresher sound on dewar.I'm the one who pushed for tablas and dholaks on the early junoon albums (heer,sunn,chori,barzakh) way before it became fashion.so i wouldn't get worried about losing our ethnic roots...ashiq will be back.
3)The english album is very much still an ambition and I have over 50 english tunes down which need careful sifting i guess it's
just down to priority.E.M.I. is releasing us in the U.K. and if that best of album sells well to the goras than obviously it'll set us up nicely for the english album BUT RIGHT NOW Dewar is top priority and then you look at everything else
4) the overdubs on the dvd... QUESTION:can you tell which song has the overdub?
5) my guitar effects are a combination of customized guitars /amp/effects and speaker simulation.but ultimately what makes my sound is my soul thru my blood,bone and fingers...on the album i used john alec's pro tools amp farm settings just to go for a richer,warmer tone but it varies from song to song.for guitars I used the PRS,the ibanez,the gibson double neck, for acoustics i used the taylor with alternative tunings (like on baarish)
by the way the album version of dewar has ali singing lead vocals.When I make demos of my songs I sing the melodies as a guide vocal I think that's what you guys are listening to... **
