spot on and i said the same in post 53.. to say that men in afghanistan/nwfp, madrassas/chruches who are involved in molestation activity do this because they love boys-only is plain naivety because it is hard to believe that such a large proportion would be interested in boys-only…
they do it cuz they find feminism in these young boys..it is so obvious..they dress them like girls and have them dance like girls…and yet majority of posters are insisting that this is a not a pronounced trend at a societal level in those societies/segments and that those people do it just because they are not normal people and they luv boyz only…la howl walla quwata illa billah…
i know why these guppies are so defensive…it is because societies under discussion happen to be muslim societies and of course we Pakistanis are the biggest thekedar and defender of islam…even though no one is blaming islam here although it is a fact that religion does play a role in an indirect fashion by promoting some level of segregation (catholic churches, madrassas) but such brutal segregation is mostly cultural which is now practiced on the name of islam
i challenge that had i talked about the exact same problem with the exact same logic in Austria and Sweden or any other non Muslim countriy, none of these guppies would have come up with these kind of excuses
