In Life 1 people come and post their own issues, issues effecting lives of friends or family and seek advice from us. Now is it necessary to cross examine those posters to find out if they are lying about the issue or just making up issue ?
If it is necessary then please enlighten me to reason why you think so ?
P.S. 888 Trolling by posters of these issues is not covered by this thread , trolling deserves its own thread.
P.S. 8888 This thread is not directed at some particular GS member , it is just curiosity at its best.
Yeah , yeah , I know curiosity killed that cat but still.
I think asking a few questions to get a better understanding of a situation is not a big deal. At times I've seen topics where a situation has been laid out and lots of advice given, only for the OP to come back and add more details which kind of changed the entire situation, or at least didn't clarify matters or reflect both sides of the story, making most of the previous advice given pretty much useless. That kinda stuff is highly annoying.
I always believe in benefit of doubt for such people. Nobody would want to post their family woes on such a public forum unless they are really desperate for advice or vent out and have nobody to talk to
That is not cross examination , that is getting the facts.
Cross examination is when one doubts the sincerity , honesty and integrity of the poster and start to establish their credibility. The poster is not on the witness stand in a court.
I highly suspect chicks from london, or this one chick who perhaps post with different ids.
Her issues are real if you read only one thread, but if you happen to remember her previous issues/situation,
you would know she is making up stories and her own persona.
I don’t remeber her id but if I see her post I PM you, Mirch.
Then maybe we can talk behind ppl’s back :halo:
Ahh okay. Yeah, I tend to give the benefit of the doubt because who knows what someone is really going through. If I think something is not true, I generally stay away from that topic, or at least until i have read some responses to gauge for myself what’s what.
IMO it is majority - if you want numbers just for humor i cooked up some numbers: LOL

did you do a poll?
no its my just my opinion, i am not stating a fact, figure just my opinion and you dont need a poll, formula or stat to back up ur opinion (in general terms)
what method did you use to arrive at this conclusion?
method stated above, very optimistic shouldnt be confusing, let me know if future needed
what makes you the authority?
i never said or meant i am any sort of authority. i seriously dont know how in the world did you come up with this question. i am the topic started, i am not a decision maker here i merely posted my opinion - an autority involved or need in posting your remarks/opinions
and how do you determine this "majority"?
did you do a poll?
