i had put sugared almonds five of them, these were from the same place i got my wedding cards from! cheap as chips!
the favor bags r basically given my the boys side for the nikkah... but now a days the trend has changed... as i am in the wedding planning and decor business... now a days people are getting favors made for all three days just to add more festivity in it... i provide my clients with favors on the mayon, mehendi, barat and valima...depending on who so ever wants em..
Manaey can you give some idea for mayun, mehndi and shadi favors that you do for your clients. Pics would be appreciated.

Silsila - did you get your wedding cards in UK or pak? I didn't know you could get favors done at the same place....less running around for sure....

i did post my cards on last yr during wedding preps and I know another guppie went there after seeing mine and loved the store, they are not typical asian cards, very contemporary western designs, they made my matching menus, reserved signs etc

Wedding Favors
Hey GS Girls!
I'm in the middle of planning my wedding, and was wondering what would be a good idea for Wedding Favors? I wanted to add the desi touch, but I'm unsure what to use.
My orginal plan was to get give out little methai boxes..........but I can't place a little box of methai in front of each chair.........its gonna cost too much or may go to waste...

wedding favours are nothing without sauf supari, ding dong cheegum, chuwaray that no one will ever be able to eat.. and those white sugary drops.

Yup I think you are confusing that with Chuharay.........Do all muslims give that after a Nikah is complete or is that just a paki thing?

Zoreed showed some of her party favours in a programe aired on Hum TV and I fell in love with her work. She has little palkis and dhols to distribute sweets and chuaras in and I loved the idea.

you can do so much! i prefer edible favors cos at least they get eaten instead of some little trinket that’ll just sit at home and not do much but gather dust.
you can do cookies, you can do custom chocolates, you can do custom m&m’s… the choices are endless!
