go to the dollar store.. thats were we went for my cuzins bidh bags and since v day is coming up they have really cute lacey stuff... its chaep and affordable! lol hope that helps

we ordered our wedding favor bags from ebay...they cost very very cheap(100 for only $10) but looked awesome. I'll post a pic when I come online from home. :)

Hey CA I saw the link, and that's EXACTLY what i'm looking for, but I can't order online, I really want to buy them today.. i'll try looking at party city/hallmark etc, i didn' fin anything on their websites, hopefully i can get em from the store

speaking of favours, what are good favours to give out at a wedding? we're using the ladybug throughout our wedding as our little symbol to unite the different design elements, and its because the ladybug itself is considered a symbol of good forture. so i was thinking since its a garden wedding, to give out little mini watering cans with seed packets and a little ladybug magnet stuck to the outside. wrap it up with a personalised ribbon with our names and wedding date on it, and done! how's that?
for the mehendi, i think my mom is going to get a lot of chooriyan and we'll split them up into sets of 6 and wrap them up along with little bags of... "biddh", i guess, is the word im looking for. although to be honest, i didnt know you gave away favors at a mehendi too.

my mom made it with different plastic color puch and tied it with ribbon, and on my bro's weddin i made little fabric pouches tieds with ribbons, made it reall colorful glittery fabric,, or go down to micheals and go into weddin craftin sections im sure u'll find many ideas.... goodluck

I've seen someone give out packs of flower seeds with the couple's names and wedding dates on the pack. I've also seen people give out packs of mini soap, etc. That looks good too...
