sana, those favours are from a Bengali wedding, hence the Assamese tea. Just, FYI! :)

Awwww! Really cute! Did you make those, lovely?

Thanks Mahi! Yeah actually I wasn't sure what type of Tea that was but I was thinking of using Tapal packets or something that is popular here that I can find in Canada. I also found the Paan Masala boxes of 48 packets for $1.00 on eBay! What can I replace instead of the tea? ..You also said the hankerchief was in signs in respect for that favor? How so?
Re: Creative “Bidh/Wedding Favours” distributing ideas
You can put in any kind of tea bags that are popular there or make that green tea if you are planning to give these out as a mehndi favour. I think Pan masala would be a better option than tea as people can eat them there and then.
The reason was written on the blog where I got the pics from. I can’t find the blog now. Maybe it isn’t working.

Oh these are SO cute! I also want to add tiny little Pakistan flag pins into mine. And the stanza pouches on eBay are a great deal!
Re: Creative "Bidh/Wedding Favours" distributing ideas
Does anyone know where I can buy favour boxes and get the personalized labels in the GTA area? I know I can do it online, but I really don't feel comfortable ordering anything online....
