My mamoos (3 of them) are just as bad. They pinch my arm really hard as a way of showing "affection"

My extended family are nutcases.
My khala thinks AIDS spreads through people's clothes.
She also thinks married women should worship their husbands.
Suffice to say, we don't get along too well because of these illiterate and backdated (but rather hilarious!) views.
Please share your experiences with crazy relatives so I know I am not the only one who has idiotic relatives.

She said to me she wanted her grand daughter married at 16 and didnt want to send her to university.
She said her bahu's were not religious enough even though all her sons smoke and go out at odd hours
She says that a boy is the best blessing and consoled my bhabi when she had a girl and said 'parishaan mat hona!!'
all in all she is definitely one charlie chaplin!

This is a funny thread - one of my khala thinks that the microwave is the devil and refuses to use it.
She warms everything on the stove or by dipping it in hot water
