Re: Country shutdown plan - stage 1: Faisalabad
If you can go for indefinite hartal then why not, we are seeing an ‘indefinite’ dharna anyways. Lets be more democratic, no protests allowed, no dharna… only qatl-o-gharat without FIR.

Um.. your post is itself contradicting yourself.
On one side you are saying there is an indefinite dharna going on..... On the other side no protest allowed. Make up your mind man :)

I am saying lets go by your suggestions for 'saving economic losses' and ban all dharnas, ban all kinds of protests.... let anyone kill anyone and no FIR filed, the govt must keep ruling.

See that's exactly the extreme approach everyone is adopting in Pakistan. Maro ya marjao. Ya to sar pe bithalo warna saans bhi na lene do.
Comeon man, why cant one find a balance b/w everything? Yes I'm against strikes because of economic losses no matter who is doing it.
And Yes I'm very pro-democarcy as well. Now people should be sane enough to find a balance.
I've seen enough strikes in Karachi. If you want to make every city the same, please go ahead. But make sure you come back and let me know what have you achieved.
Re: Country shutdown plan - stage 1: Faisalabad
It is a change , I have seen it starting in same way in Karachi , Gali Gali main lashain

When justice system is removed from society, it runs into all kinds of problems.

so show me what did govt do to address issues raised by PTI? After 12+ months of demand NS only offered investigation on 13th Aug after dharna was about to start, you would think he was sincere in the offer?

That is problem of govts, they make promises with protesting party and then don't deliver, should that mean nobody protest anymore?
Re: Country shutdown plan - stage 1: Faisalabad
Pti thugs, purani Pakistan.
Re: Country shutdown plan - stage 1: Faisalabad
Real face of PMLN mobs
Re: Country shutdown plan - stage 1: Faisalabad
I don't understand why PMLN party has to bring its supporters on the street, they are in government, they need to use law enforcement to make sure PTI workers do not do any thing illegal. By pitting their own workers against PTI they are showing they lack intelligence, they are adding fuel to fire.
Re: Country shutdown plan - stage 1: Faisalabad
You have the answer earlier.
What I said is exactly Imran Khan saying and doing.
So far he has shown his extreme greedy nature and is puttig the interest of the country aside.
Inciting people not to pay tax or civil disobedience, causing anarchy in the cities, causing country economic damage… should be considered treason and he should be locked up in solitary confinement for a while.
That does not mean it is right.
I said ‘only’ in my sentence. ![]()

If it is 'only' for power, then it is rather a good thing.
Most of our politicians are in the business for power AND haram khori.

Both are wrong.
If a politician merely wants power that is wrong too.
People should not accept this kind of behavior.
Re: Country shutdown plan - stage 1: Faisalabad
Politics: it refers to achieving and exercising positions of governance — organized control over a human community, particularly a state.
Re: Country shutdown plan - stage 1: Faisalabad
You are taking this definition literally without its ultimate goal which is to serve the country and country fellows for their interest.
IK is not doing that by any stretch.
IK is like a child who wants candy and threatening to break the glass window of the house if not given.
How can he be sincere to the country while using illegal and harmful means to get power? Seriously!
Re: Country shutdown plan - stage 1: Faisalabad
All those who do strikes, dharna, refuse to pay tax, calling for city/country business shutdown etc., to achieve power should be considered traitors...and be treated as such.
Re: Country shutdown plan - stage 1: Faisalabad
Ik’s close aide are also accusing him for sabotaging Chinese investment opportunity

Re: Country shutdown plan - stage 1: Faisalabad
You mean, PTI has also learned ‘how to lie’ from expert liar, Thug Nawaz and his party of Liars? ![]()
Anyhow … news I just heard on TV is: MQM has also warned of Dharna in Karachi (in other words shutting down Karachi) … and we all know how effective they are. Let us see, how things goes from here.
I have feeling that shutting if PTI would announce shutting down Karachi, MQM would follow too, as it would become need of MQM. Many in Karachi hates government of Thug Nawaz, his Lies, deceptions, corruptions and nepotism.
So, many MQM voters and supporters would join Imran in shut-down call, that MQM would not like that. So listening to the voices of their voters and supporters, they have to join the call of shut-down
To make things more acceptable, Goons of Thug Nawaz have given them excuse. An MQM office bearer from Siallot got killed in Punjab in front of police.
Now, MQM has declared that if murder of their party leader is not investigated properly and murderer not punished, than there would be dharna in Karachi until PMLN government falls, and no PMLN office bearers would be able to come to Karachi with safety.
