Country shutdown plan - stage 1: Faisalabad

As PTI is getting ready to shutdown Faisalabad on Dec. 08th, there are some news that PML(N) will not let it happen that easily.
It’ll be really sad if it turns violent and ugly as the only one to suffer would be a common man.

PTI’s chairman IK will be in the city himself.

****FAISALABAD: Finalising its plan to shut down Faisalabad on December 8, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf revealed that party chief Imran Khan will address his supporters at the famous Ghanta Ghar Chowk at 3:30pm, Express News reported on Sunday.
The party prepares to enter the next stage of its agitation against the government over allegations of rigging in 2013 general elections, with plans of paralysing various cities if an independent audit of the 2013 election is not ordered.
Ahead of the December 8 rally, workers of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and PTI – carrying placards – protested and chanted slogans against each other at the Ghanta Ghar Chowk today.
PTI workers also put up party banners in the city as they prepare to welcome Imran.

Re: Country shutdown plan - stage 1: Faisalabad

much ado about nothing...thin gs will go smoothly...it's just the government's vain attempt to intimidate the protesters by showing high number of security personnel. iA, nothing will happen.

Re: Country shutdown plan - stage 1: Faisalabad

If clock tower is closed well my friend then Faisalabad is close.

Re: Country shutdown plan - stage 1: Faisalabad

That's all Imran Khan does anyways, threaten government shut down, destroying Pak's economy, and DJ remix songs at his darnas while Nawaz is forwarding plans to improve Pak's economy. It's no surprise why PML-N is the most popular party in the country.

The only way PTI can get a PM seat is if they pull a PPP stunt, the death of the head of the party (Benazir) which gave PPP nation wide sympathy vote. Imran Khan is already an expert in sympathy vote when he "fell" from stage right before voting began. Maybe he can give the ultimate sacrifice and get himself killed so the nation can bring PTI to power via mass sympathy vote.

Re: Country shutdown plan - stage 1: Faisalabad

While I am against shut downs your last paragraph is in very very poor taste.

I am sure IK has destroyed the Pakistani econocmy, as I remember the economic power Pakistan was last time Nawaz was in power.

Re: Country shutdown plan - stage 1: Faisalabad

come to Faisalabad and see for yourself how PMLN is washes aways. Its PTI city now !
you will see 80% of businesses will be close down voluntarily.

Re: Country shutdown plan - stage 1: Faisalabad

I dont think that its possible to shut cities down (especially in Punjab), people dont have appetite for that. Anyways, will see tomorrow.

Re: Country shutdown plan - stage 1: Faisalabad

You will see how we close Faisalabad. The ball is in the government court now.

Re: Country shutdown plan - stage 1: Faisalabad

Faisalabad shuts down or not, but one thing is certain, that is, in next election if PMLN gets more seats than what they got in 2002, than that would be miracle ... and please do not say that 2002 election was rigged, because if it was rigged than PMLQ would have got overwhelming majority in Parliament just like PMLN got majority in 2013 'mother of all rigged elections' (Eelection dhandla, full of puncture repairs, haddi to RO, haddi to many bureaucrats administrating the election, and juicy hadda to chor Iftikhar).

This is the result of 2002 fair election ... but in next election, if it would be free and fair, Nawaz would try to run for Saudi Arabia again, and if caught than rope would be waiting.

In 2002 free and fair election:
PMLN got 16 out of 272 National assembly seats
PMLN got 37 out of 297 Punjab provincial assembly seats
PMNL got 5 out of 99 KPK provincial assembly seats.

Re: Country shutdown plan - stage 1: Faisalabad

interesting!

Re: Country shutdown plan - stage 1: Faisalabad

I have come to the conclusion that all elections conducted in Pakistan have been free and fair including the last one.

Re: Country shutdown plan - stage 1: Faisalabad

:rotfl: :rotfl: hahaha :rotfl: :rotfl:

Re: Country shutdown plan - stage 1: Faisalabad

Sure ... :)

Fazlu accused that 2013 election in KPK was rigged, Imran straight away told Fazlu that to get any (Provincial and National assembly) constituency he wants audited. ... Sign that most likely, election was not rigged, and even if election was rigged than at least winning party was not involved.

I think, same must be true about Punjab election result, and when Imran accused that election in Punjab was rigged, PMLN who did not do dhanla and are honest, must have said too, taht Imran bhai, why accuse or complain, no problem, lets get all constituencies audited. :)

Re: Country shutdown plan - stage 1: Faisalabad

For PMLN and PPP 2002 elections were rigged, in 2008 PPP didnt have any issues and in 2013 PMLN is fine with the results. I dont know what their issue is then as the system under which the elections were conducted last time was similar to the one in 2002. I remember results changing overnight and the delay in announcement of results where other parties were winning (with obvious candidates winning in the end).

Re: Country shutdown plan - stage 1: Faisalabad

Chalayen aap sahi kah rahay hain ... tou phir yea samjhayean ...

keyonkay ... Mujhay tou yea samajh nahi aa raha kay ... kiya baat hay, are PMLN mentally retards? ...

All these accusations are directly maligning PMLN, and according to them, also hitting the economy and their governance. Situation is also portraying PMLN a cheat, liar, characterless, mega corrupt, got into government through dhanda, and thus are Devil in human body. On the other hand, PMLN along with their chailays and chamchas claim that there was no rigging and they won the election free and fair.

PMLN got 15 million votes in 2013, that is approximately combined votes of 'PPP and PTI' and they also have support of PPP (who are acting like 'pet dog' of Thug Nawaz ... pata nahi, Thug has thrown haddi to Zardari or chichra) ... so, to get out of present situation, why they do not do water tight arrangement with the help of armed forces (whom all trust) and call a new election ... that obviously PMLN would win if present election was not rigged and they are so popular as they claim.

Re: Country shutdown plan - stage 1: Faisalabad

in short, they are either retards or over confident. The army is uninterested in political maneuvering and the judiciary is with them. If the PMLN does not have anything to do with rigging they should have had an independent audit done ages ago.

Re: Country shutdown plan - stage 1: Faisalabad

Well, over confident kiss baat ka?

The way things are moving, either army comes in, or river of blood would start flowing on roads.

What I can see is PTI, PAT, ST, PMLQ, AML, APML, Sindhi nationalist parties, and possibly MQM would be on one side … PMLN, PPP, JUI, LJ, SSP, ANP and few others would be on other side … JI in between, and then … :2guns:… would start, making road red with blood.

Re: Country shutdown plan - stage 1: Faisalabad

You can cry all you want for Imran but as long as the Army doesn't support him, he has no chance of coming to power via street force. And he can never win in fair election because the majority of the people vote for the party that actually tries to solve the economic problems, which Nawaz is doing, while Imran instead on focusing on KPK is shutting down cities.
