Does anyone know any cooking/baking classes being offered in Mississauga or surrounding areas?
Any private institute/chef offers special classes beside govt. schools/night school?

haha I was just looking for same. Do you get Peel region recreational and continuing education magazine? There are many classes offered in highschools in the evening. I think you can get that magazine from Peel region headoffice or maybe check out their Web site.

great idea. I was also looking into a makeup artist course :D
They teach you how to do outdoor, party and bridal makeups. It is not for professionals but only for personal leisure and fun. Same goes for baking classes. I'll find out :)

which one is it? cuz i did one couple of years ago. it wasnt for bridal....but i learned a lot....but ya lets do something for sure....even if it is baking

Why take classes in cooking when you can experiment at home. Cooking classes are like 'Windows for Dummies" .. though Chef schools that teach a lot more than cooking; things like how to manage produce, a resturant, garnishing etc. are worth while.
I would much rather use the same time to watch Alton Brown on Food TV.

You remind me of my collegue. She loves reading fictional and non-fictional novels as we all do. Her husband is totally opposite of her, he likes reading book like “how to become a milllinare” or “spead reading” all that boring stuff 
we were laughing our head off the other day on this

JP, I think I threw it away or something, but I was looking on their website and couldn't find anything either. A private chef classes could be helpful, specially baking classes.

there are tons of cooking classes held in mississauga, check Toronto star, they also did an article on it. i am suppose to start my class in a few weeks :)

I took baking class at george brown college this past winter. They have got amazing baking and cooking classes. I did not find anything suitable in Mississauga, I don’t think there is any if you campare it to George brown, it is supposed to be best. It was lots of fun and definitely worth learning.
