Converting out of Islam - in Pakistan

Re: Converting out of Islam - in Pakistan

The veracity of the Quran cannot be questioned - those of Sahih Bukhari - Muslim - in my opinion can be - because Allah did not take the responsibility of ensuring their veracity for all time.

Since this is TRUE I think it is incorrect to base laws and punishments on the hadees. Especially taking the life of another person. The Quran is all that is needed. The Quran is a very lengthy book which has rules for humanity on many facets of life. The Quran does mention apostasy but DOES NOT mention a punishment. Hence it is my view that apostasy is NOT punishable in this life. "There is no compulsion in religion."

Re: Converting out of Islam - in Pakistan

Sir we can make laws which are punishable by death on the basis of HADEES

Re: Converting out of Islam - in Pakistan

Please provide me with an argument of why this is so - just saying something again and again does nothing to further discussion on the topic.

Re: Converting out of Islam - in Pakistan

Sir Sahabas have always followed this rule

Re: Converting out of Islam - in Pakistan

Doing something just because its always been done seems like a recipe for disaster.

Re: Converting out of Islam - in Pakistan

Sir after PROPHET SAW sahabas had the most knowledge of Islam they were the best people every came on this earth

Re: Converting out of Islam - in Pakistan

I'm sure you're right. However all that happened 1400 years ago. And from that time till now the only thing we have which is 100% true is the Quran. Everything else is possibly tainted, so what you might believe that the Prophet did according to hadees might not have actually happened.

Re: Converting out of Islam - in Pakistan

Sir most things have not changed

Re: Converting out of Islam - in Pakistan

Do you know which ones have and which ones have not? Can you be 100% certain?

Re: Converting out of Islam - in Pakistan

Yes every one can be 100 % percent certain

Re: Converting out of Islam - in Pakistan

How? Bukhari was a human being - Allah was not talking to him, while collecting hadees he collected many thousands and then threw away ones which he thought were not authentic - are you telling me that Bukhari could not have made a single mistake?

Re: Converting out of Islam - in Pakistan

Sir I am saying is that Hadees is safe and sound

Re: Converting out of Islam - in Pakistan

And I am saying you are wrong because you cannot be 100% certain as you can be in case of the Quran.

Re: Converting out of Islam - in Pakistan

Good luck discussing with him :D

La Iqra-ha fid-deen ...... now tell if this verse is in Qur'an or not ..... if yes than no individual has the right to enforce Islam on any one. Period

Re: Converting out of Islam - in Pakistan

"There is no compulsion in religion." bro this ayat means "u cannot force anyone to accept islam" !!

Re: Converting out of Islam - in Pakistan

bro i guess bro reduzijuice doesn't understands principles of Islamic laws!!

n he has to give a soft answer to his atheist friends...

Re: Converting out of Islam - in Pakistan

jeet tumhari howi, dost. :D

:D

:D

Re: Converting out of Islam - in Pakistan

bro u shud know quran is also wat prophet told n sahaba memorized n wrote...u dint hear it from Allah directly.. if u doubt hadith u shud doubt quran
n wen u dont u shud not doubt hadiths

u know once i gues its about imam bukhari, travelled long way to narator of a hadith n he saw that man mistreating his donkey ..so imam did not accepted his hadith, saying that one whu mistreats his aminal is not trust worthy!

if it is about giving soft image of islam..u shud understand islam is strict wen it comes to punishments because
-these punishments r very imp to maintain dicipline n control shr..
-punishments r strict because in islamic state,Allah's system facilitates us to refrain from sins and encourages good deeds, and the society is nurturing, pure and balanced
so in such a blessed environment wen u comit sin u deserve punishmnt
and as i said islamic punishments r implemented ONLY wen there is islamic state and islam can not be partially implemented

Re: Converting out of Islam - in Pakistan

1 ummah - Allah has taken the responsibility of preserving the Quran - not the hadees - hence the hadees can be at best be true - potentially biased - and at worst completely false. We have no way of knowing for certain.

I have no problems with people reading the hadees as well as following them. I have a problem when we prescribe punishments according to the hadees which have no mention in the Quran, especially when we are talking about an extreme decision of ending another persons life.

Yes we would not know the way to offer salat if it was not for the hadees. However performing the salat improperly does not harm another person. Requiring that apostates should be killed based on Haddees when the punishment is not mentioned in the Quran is incorrect.

Re: Converting out of Islam - in Pakistan

well u cannot say its incorrect but there is diference of opinion...so in that case it depends on head of islamic state, which opinion he applies and it can be changed with change of ruler
