That's pretty much the case. A non-muslim is a non-muslim because they are committing shirk akbar, the unforgiveable sin. The punishment for shirk akbar is eternal.

So basically non muslims are second class humans?

Could it be possible that humans misinterpret the Quran when addressing this issue. Maybe they are not really rebelious in the eyes of Allah.
Imagine how hard it would have been for you to see Islam as the right religion if you were born in a Hindu family or any other other religion. Then you would have died and according to what most muslims say, non muslims go to hell... would it have been fair. Did a muslim kid and a non muslim kid have the same exposure to Islam? Whats the non muslims kids fault? That he was born in a non muslims family? Is that Fair? Is God Fair? Also is God really there? :)

Firstly, if you want to interpret that as non muslims being second class then that's your interpretation. But this is justice, because Allah is Just. He is Forgiving and Merciful except when it comes to Shirk. Allah does not answer to anyone, so He can do whatever He wants rather it is us mankind who have to answer to Him.
Nowadays even those who are born Muslim are not really practising Islam. Some are even confused about very important issues like Aqeedah.

Anyways, I think that everyone in the world today has gotten some sort of exposure to Islam. You'd have to be a hermit to not have even heard of Islam in this day and age.

I dont understand how someone calling God as Shiva or Krishna or Christ instead of Allah makes him a rebel ? Do you believe that a different entity created you vs. a Hindu or Christian ?

Rejecting Tawheed is called Shirk.
Tawheed has three components Rubobiyyah, Uloohiyyah and Asmaa wa as Siffat.
So the majority of mankind accept Rubobiyyah except for the atheists.
And generally speaking all other religions commit shirk in Uloohiyyah.

If you guys are genuinely interested then I can refer you all to books about these topics.

Here I am talking, in context to the above posts, where the topic of Shirk Akbar is being argued upon. Coz in Arabic Allaah means God, you can call it by any name but I call Allaah as its a beautiful name and a pure name.
So someone who is committing Shirk or associating any partners with Allaah, cannot be forgiven and are rebels in the sight of Allaah.

How can Allah call a person, who says he is not a muslim, a rebel, when what the person does is all good. Is allah so narrow minded?

If your conscience is clear then you are fine. If you are doing good then you are fine. If you are doing your duty then you are fine. Thats what hinduism says, and thats what most religion say. I think Islaam is either created by extremly narrow minded person/people or you guys have interpreted it absolutely wrong.

What I know is this, God will love everyone who is a good human. Religion does not matter.
Muslims have been tought that non-muslims cannot go to heaven just to create fear in them so that they do not convert.

What is Japanese name (probably they won't be able to pronounce Allah properly. There must be some name for them too. Are these names wrtten in Quran?

If suppose your wife does all the righteous deeds helping the poor, etc… but one day comes to you and declares YOUR ALSO MY HUSBAND, but not YOU ARE ONLY MY HUSBAND, be pragmatic here.

Secondly Uncle of Prophet sala Allaah alayhi wa sallam, thats Abu Talib(Well respected man in the clan of Makkah specifically Banu Hashim) took care of him for nearly 40 years, infact he protected the Prophet from the being prosecuted by the Makkans, loved him the most but he died as a Mushrik.
When Prophet supplicated, to Allaah, Allaah in the Noble Quran says that it does not befit a Prophet to pray for the Mushriks though they are kith and kin.
