If we take it the other way: Musharaf let the kid speak his heart out and replied in a calm composed tone when he was finished.
If walking out of the ring is called as calm and composed reaction then i wish your spouse does it to you all the time in the times of argumentation... Ameen , sum Ameen..

Bhaijan, I have no problem whatsoever. However, CJ has been economical with the truth and allowed his supporters to propogate falacies.
This is not bout being more loyal than the king. It is about pointing out facts and showing impartiality. Maybe CJ has been reading Hitlers Mein Kampf, where Hitler suggested it was better to tell big lies rather than small ones, as people were more inclined to believe bigger lies :)

The press release by gov to news channels was read on AAJ TV in presence of Wasi Zafar, by Talat Hussain which said
".....earlier the chief justice was called in president house and confronted with the allegations....."

called or not called it is quite obvious that musharraf had made arrangements to harrass the poor CJ and just like kargil when things did not work out according to his percieved imaginations he had no clue how to manage the catastrophy, I call it a political Kargil

bjhaijan, u r alleging that the CJ lied based on the news article u mentioned? How low can one go? Economical with truth. Thats interesting. Lets play:)
Go back and read some of the papers, u’ll notice that the initial govt. hand out mentioned that the CJ was called to the President camp office. CJ has neither accepted nor rejected this piece of info. Maybe he was called, maybe he called on. We don’t know. What u say is based on an assumptive news article filed by an anonymous journalist. We do know however, that the govt. went back on its word regarding this matter. We do also know that Aitezaz Ahsan has said that he will prove it in the court that the CJ was called to the camp office. Get back to me with facts. Assumptive stories from anonymous articles r hardly worth more time than I have given.

Depends on which side of the argument you take. If one is impartial, then it does matter.
However, to many it does matter because the people that support the CJ have been making a big deal about the fact that a uniformed President summoned the CJ to the army barracks.
Now it is clear that it was the CJ who was meeting the uniformed president by prior appointment, and has done that on regular basis previously, before this crisis.
Aalsi, it does not matter if he was visiting because he had an appointment...what matters is that he was sacked by a uniformed President. This is the crux of the issue.

Let's suppose CJP VISITED Musharraf himself according to Musharraf's own statement. CJP leaves this out but he DOES mention in the Affidavit (I am sure people are aware of the seriousness of an affidavit) that he reached Army House at 11:30 am on March 9 with his protocol staff. Five minutes later, President Musharraf came into the room in his military uniform along with his military secretary and ADC. A number of TV cameramen and photographers were also called in. The president told him about a complaint against him by a Peshawar High Court judge and some other complaints.
Now what would you deduce after CJP's own words? If he had gone there by himself, there HAS TO be SOME REASON why would he go there. Why Musharraf initiated a dialogue instead of CJP telling him why he had come to visit President?
We aren't finished as yet, let's move on please:
Then he directed his staff to call other persons including his chief of staff (COS), the prime minister, chiefs of the Military Intelligence (MI), Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) and Intelligence Bureau (IB) and another official. All officials, except the IB chief and the COS, were in uniform, the CJP said.
Does that still leave ANYTHING for imagination that CJP WAS indeed called to Army House. Immediate photo shoot of Musharraf and CJP, Musharraf initiating the dialogue and handing CJP option of leaving the status and fall into oblivion and immediate availability of ALL important top brass generals... Director of ISI containing SOME documents (most definitely his paper-work against CJP). Where does that lead us to????

Okay, may be none of you have any military background or knowledge of how things work in Army but geez these are too many clues to safely deduce CJP was called to Army house...

oh and by the way, did anyone ever think why, and why on earth was COS NOT in uniform? I mean it's 11a.m in the morning and it's not a holiday and COS who's already present at the Army House is NOT in the uniform... May be I am reading too much, folks, for that i apologize but still wondering, why only him?

Bhaijan, why such duplicity? PM's in the past have been sacked by non-uniformed Presidents. Also, it appears people have short memories - don't forget what non-uniformed NS did to the judiciary.
