You do now!

I do love Green and Black's dark chocolate. I love ALL dark chocolate, the more bitter it is the more I can eat!

But Green and Black's is my 'when the bleep really hits the fan' type of chocolate.

Im a Cadbury's lass. Love dairy milk whole nut and flake, comfort chocolate!

Re: Chocolate - British, American, European, Desi???

Ooooooo I like the sound of this place. Where abouts is it?

I have a feeling it may be the new 'Selfridges'

Re: Chocolate - British, American, European, Desi???

They have a shop in Sloane Square. It is opposite that nice outdoor ice cream place:konfused: If I can remember correctly.

Partridges

There is another nice specialist chocolate shop. The name escapes me currently, but will get back to you once I do remember.

Re: Chocolate - British, American, European, Desi???

Kitkat made in UK.. Patchi tastes "pasty" to me (don't like it) Godiva truffles..Thorton's truffles.. Guylain truffles..

Hershey's and Reese's I find too sugary and grainy..chocolate has to be super-smooth!

Chocolates bu Au Maison du chocolat are by far the best one's i've had so far!

Re: Chocolate - British, American, European, Desi???

Milly

Ackermans

I think the one in Selfridges you are on about is ‘L’Artisan du Chocolat’

Right I think I need a trip to London:hula:

Re: Chocolate - British, American, European, Desi???

^ Hey have you been in Hotel Chocolat? They give you samples of different things as you walk around the store. :)

Re: Chocolate - British, American, European, Desi???

I don't have a local branch, its too far away for me to going there everyday :(

How sad, some of us just have memories of our last trip to Bluewater to keep us going...

Re: Chocolate - British, American, European, Desi???

hey now, hershey’s kisses are an awful example of american chocolate! they don’t even have any chocolate in them! its all synthetic bullcrap.
now ghirardelli, on the other hand, mmm… i can eat tons and tons of their caramel chocolate-- Ghirardelli :: Home

Guittard and Scharffen Berger are two companies who make the BEST baking chocolate!

as for twix and kit kat, agreed, they have to be european! the north american versions are ass.

oh, also, if anyone’s in toronto and looking for an amazing chocolate café to visit (for afternoon tea or otherwise), check out moroco chocolat in yorkville. its divine! MoRoCo Chocolat - 99 Yorkville Avenue - 416.961.2202

Re: Chocolate - British, American, European, Desi???

10 mins from my house luv... (my local shop, not Bluewater!)

Ok, now I feel bad for making you feel sadder.

Hows about next time I go, I shall eat my chocolate (and free samples) in your name! Simples!
