I get my clothes stitched from Timpiy. Her basic tailoring is Rs 2500 and it is by far the BEST tailoring in lahore. And this is coming from someone who's been a Karma regular since 2001 when they used to operate out of someone's home and is now a Kamiar Rokni regular since he parted ways with Karma.
I am not sure if she will only stitch clothes though. I typically ask her to make complete outfits for me from scratch and also give her my fabric to stitch( she does the pipings and finishing, dying etc). If anyone wants good quality stitching for a special occasion, try Timpiy.
My aunt goes to a place Chantilly. Their stitching is around 1000 which is pretty reasonable. They are also a design house (in a way) and will do stuff from scratch. I 've personally never been there, but my aunt wears really stunning outfits.
Sara Shahid from Sublime also stitches superb clothes( if the order is large) and is also Rs 2,500. I haven't seen people wear her clothes, but I've seen HER wear her own clothes :). dunno if that counts, but she has a really good reputation in the lahore auntie circle:)
Anyways hope that helps. And while some ppl might find these prices outrageous, these ARE the standard prices at a good place and by good place i mean a place where the tailoring is superb and the service is excellant. Whenever i get my stuff made from Timpyi, i try them in her fitting room. If something is a miss, the head tailor is called and shown the problem. I wait while the problem is fixed and take the suite home with me. I wouldn't recommend spending so much on a lawn suite but when it comes to formal wear, I would never do otherwise:S
and as for lawn suites try Generation. I am wearing a lawn suite by them RIGHT now:) i bought it for 1700.It's fully stitched ( naturally :)), has laces on the neckline, putti on the damun(base of shirt), piping on dupatta. Pretty good don't you think?? no darzee hastle and it costs far less than the unstitched lawns being sold this season. And did i mention it looks awesome???
hey dooree.. i know this is kind of random. but is your suit from generation black and white with colored lace? i saw this girl wearing it and really liked it .. it looked as if it was ready made.. im just wondering if that was from generation.

Fitting isnt so much my issue , its really the STYLE. like do u guys know of darzis that are able to make just about ANYTHING like are they in on the current fashion? i had a darzi but i had a huge fight with him so i need a new one now but he must know stuff like A line shirts, puffed sleeves, dhaka pajama, khulla pajama, peshwaz ( not a frock) . so yeah stuff like that.

he is doing them good abhi tak..I have a separate darzi in auriga who does gharara,pishwas and lehngas-he is a bridal tailoring specialist but he charges a lot-7000rs for a proper 16 kali wala gharara set(but he uses his own lining material and charmeuse pipings for it.
no i wasnt talking about fromal suits. like peshwaz on the regular ones.. like aam chiffon ka suit. and is he good at copying stuff from magazine (the stitching that is )
at 1st where is generation? and dooree can u gave the adrees of timpiy? ppl the problem is only the fitting and in my view the STLYE i have a darzi who makes a simple outfit like lawn in a wow eye catcher with all blah that u want his fitting is amazing and his charges also. now i m sifting to lahore and i need the same. help me also out!! i will be thankfull.

I actually got an orange/ rust and white one. the lace was white. The shirt was long and lose, the type that are in these days.
As for darzi's, i had this really good darzi, during my lums days. His shop was near jamin java in defence. I dunno what the name of his shop is,but the parlor next to it is called "Bushra's". The tailor's name is Nadeem. In terms of tailors, tailors ( unattached to designers), I found him really good. BUT he kindof KNEW how awesome he was and had MAJOR attitude maslaz. By this i mean, you can't argue with him, you have to be super nice to him other wise he turns you away like he turned away my aunt (which was super embarassing for me coz i'd raved about him). But stitching wise, he's really good.
Loli yaar generation kee location is an excellant question:) heehh coz I honestly don’t know the address. I generally just go in the main market, mm alam road area and end up finding it:s errr i shouldn’t have thrown away my generation bags, they have the address printed on em.

Waisay isn’t it sucky when ppl who wear fabulous clothes refuse to tell you who theirs tailors are? I have a cousin who is that way about clothes. She’s an NCA grad and knows all the fresh PSFD and NCS grads who’ve set up their clothing ka kaam but WONT TELL ME. I don’t understand such people’s psyche
ohh i HATE such people. but why would even ask them .Such people should never be given the satisfaction that their clothes are good. Just try and figure out urself .. play a bit of sherlock holmes. but NEVER ask i would suggest.

also i went to genertion. i didnt really like anything much there.. i dont know.. i guess its just me because there were a lot of people there and buying stuff so i think people hsould go and check it out. anyway so i went to maria B thats just opposite. i liked that beter. i got one lawn ka suit. i think maria B designs are quite unique.
is there any other DARZI who make a outfit stylish in every way also the fiiting must be more than gud. i going 2 be crazy i dont care abt the price i mean we spend so much money on a suit y we should do stint on the darzi.
just need a couple of darzi with full adress etc etc that i can check them and find out for me the best one.
