in a rare move I will be backing England to win. Because Im sure Australia will win the final, and I dont want that happening against Pakistan. Too many memories of the 99 loss, buried after much effort.

me too rooting for purana goras :D
but at the same time, I think with the last match, Pakistan's stigmatic fear of Aussies should be gone now, specially with there team in a rebuilding phase - get ponting and Hussey and the match is yours as far as Aussie batting is concerned. So even if Aussies win, Pakis still have a good chance against them in the final !

Australia held a 6/1 advantage over England in the recently finished ODI series and are unbeaten in the CT. So it is difficult to see how England will beat them esepcially as after a good start they got whipped by NZ.
