I want to watch this movie so badly but the only cinema theater that shows desi movies near here is close to 3 hrs aways:bummer: and I don’t want to watch some crappy quality copy since this actually seems like a good movie that isn’t a copy of a hollywood movie which is so rare these days with movies like “Partner”(copy of “Hitch”) and “Hey Baby”(copy of “three men and a baby”) doing so well at the box office:mad:.

Really good film. Entertaining and many undercurrents. The cast did a great job and Shahrukh is HOT! He is a pretty good actor too... finally.
Go see it. I might even see it again.

one of srk's best movies ever =p he is just amazing i love him!!! the girls were good as well, i really enjoyed komal chautala, she really has talent and also bindia naik did a great job as a bully=p they deserve some props! my best scene is when they kick them boy's ass's! that is the best!! but yea great movie and should be watched on big screen. it is very well made =p Chak De India!!!

Yep that was great!! I liked how Shahrukh stopped that guy who was going to hit the girl with a bat from the back and told him if you are man you should not hit from the back - we don’t need chakkas 
Finally India made a movie about women that doesn’t deal with downtrodden poor women fighting for their rights.
And it was great to watch hockey

I went to see the shooting of this movie (In Melbourne), i am not a bollywood freak but my Malaysian friends are die hard Shah Rukh Khan fans so i went with all of them. We were offered to be part of the cheer squad (required in the movie to cheer for Indian women hockey team) but it was too much of a hassle to go there 2-3 times so i didn't really bother to go but it was a good experience.

Fair and called the ‘mem’ of Chak De India where she plays India’s centre forward, Sagarika Ghatge is a national athlete from a boarding school, and very proficient in sports. Sagarika, who incidentally happens to be the only daughter of filmmaker Vijay Ghatge who had made the film Shubhyatra with Divya Dutta in the key role, fell in love with hockey during the making of Chake De India. Sagarika,who injured herself braving the realistic jump during shoot Is a die-hard SRK fan and swears by him. It is interesting to note that Sagarika was selected by Yashraj Films and Shimit Amin to play one of the sixteen girls who are in the hockey team though she had no previous work experience and did not even have a portfolio. Right now egged by the success of her maiden film as an actress, Sagarika is looking forward to a silver screen career! Sagarika is missing hockey practice terribly. “It was like back to college. I had to rise up early morning , play hockey, eat right food and go to bed early. I miss it a lot,” says the actress, who feels that Chak De India has changed her life forever setting her life in the right direction. “The discipline, training and lifestyle set for us will help each of us go a long way in not just this industry but in life,” says Sagarika, who is back to training post Chak De India.

it's based on the story of the Indian team winning gold at the commonwealth games in 2002.
