Saw CHAK DE India.... Its a brilliant movie that will keep you entertained and take you through an emotional roller coaster for the entire length of the movie. Certainly ranks amongst the best bollywood has come out with.

Full credit to the Director Shimit Amin who helps shape SRK's character where his strong expressions and maturity are potrayed strongly and his romantic face expressions are restricted, to give probably SRK's best performance yet. For the viewer .... a comparision can be made with Rang De Basanti where the director lets others (the entire team) take over the screen play beautifully... no excessive SRK's and that's where the film delivers.
The characters for the team is well sketched out and their performance keep the movie alive and entertaining. The girlie fights, the spirit and the rustic language delivery packed with the freshness delivers great entertainment.

Outstanding direction from Shimit Amin (from Ab tak Chapan) and cudos for Yash Raj films. No romance..no jingoism patriotism but still stirs you.

A movie worth seeing....My rating is outstanding..!!!

Looks like a blatant rip-off of "A League of Their Own" with Tom Hanks. When will hindia learn to make original movies?

how in the world could it be a copy when “chak de india” is based on the true story of the HIndian hockey team winning gold? First get your facts straight dude, then talk…:rolleyes:

I’m not talking about the plot. Just because it is based on a true story doesn’t mean that the filmotography can’t be copied off another movie.

I particularly dont like SRK. but if there is a movie in which he is not dying, has no song, not sick ,and has no actress then i will watch it. actually thats the only kind of srk movie i will watch.
But this one was beyond my expectations... i really liked it. the direction and plot was good. srk did a good job( i never thought i would ever say that), and all the girls were awesome. very down to earth movie.

btw i liked the character of the little girl.. komal chautala. that was something never seen in bolllywood movies.

There are some rules of Bollywood Movie watching in 21st century

  1. If Producer of a movie is Yash Chopra & Yash Johar then you should not watch movie unless you get 25 recommendations from friends and families.

  2. Do not watch a movie if there are more than one KAPOOR in it.

  3. If directors are Madhur Bhandarkar, Nagesh Kucknoor, Rakeyesh Mehra & Prakash Jha you need only 2 recommendations.

  4. If produced by Sanjay leela Bhansali & Ram Gopal Verma then 5 recommendations are needed.

  5. If Tabbu , Bomen Irani or Naseeruddin Shah is in the movie then you must watch the movie.

  6. For Aamir Khan's movie you need 5 recommendation.

  7. For Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan movie you need 40 recommendations.

  8. If music is by Anu Malik do not watch it.

  9. If music is by Rehman, you must watch it.

  10. Aishway Rai movie needs 40 recommendations.

  11. For Amitabh Bachchan movie you need 20 recommendation. For Abhishek it is 10.

  12. In cases where these rule collide, use the most stringent rule.

Man its so weird, when SRK does crappy movies they become block busters and movies where he really acts they just dont leave a mark.
Eg Swades- phenomenal movie with no gains
and now Chakde India was an excellent movie but collections not upto par

Seems like ppl just wanna c the same side of SRK every time

It had a slow start in the beginning but now more and more people are going out to watch the movie. It’s doing pretty good at the box office now
