Re: Cell phone

Omg .. I no .. kids hav the latest nowadays ..

Re: Cell phone

People have 2-3 sets and 3-4 sims. I just hate this excessive connectivity. Its affecting personal lives. I don't like talking on phone for more than 5 minutes.

For Sms Packages I would say that this is ultimate time wastage that telecom companies have introduced in Pakistan. Everyone is busy on seeing mobile screen. people talk for hours on cheap call packages (like call any number for Rs 10 per day). I wonder, why this increased communication/ connectivity is not successful in bridging up the gap between people.

Re: Cell phone

i like the sms package thing because its cheap and u can send lots of messages.

i dont like kids having 2-3 mobiles or 2-3 sims....or those kids who have a mobile for no reason.....yes they should have a phone but they should be told that they should use it in emergency.

more over parents need to be a bit strict when they see their kids clung to a phone 24/7.

Re: Cell phone

But why 5/6 sims?? And then changing phone set every month? Because your cousin/friend have iPhone/black berry and now want it??

And I think that's why stealing cell phones is common now a days.

Re: Cell phone

This is a bit naive. Stealing phones has got nothing to do with changing phones every month.

Re: Cell phone

^ jee, apke pas nokia hoga to kam chances hain steal hone ke iPhone and black berry pe zara bat karte Howe bahar road pe jayen to pata chale.

Re: Cell phone

Um hmm. Aise to aap kanglay hongay to aap ke ghar daka nahi pare ga.
Cell phone snatching has more to do with the lawlessness. I was once stopped by snatchers when I wasn't even carrying my cellphone, thank God they let me live. But they would've taken my nokia if I were carrying it.

Re: Cell phone

Yes snatchers just took away what they got. They are not in search of expensive sets, though they wish for such sets.

Re: Cell phone

It is cheaper luxury in Pak.

Re: Cell phone

khamkhah :snooty:

Re: Cell phone

Kids can be given a prepaid phone where they can only be able to call emergency numbers or parents in case of any eventuality. It is for safety reasons.

Re: Cell phone

Yeh kaunsi zubaan hai?:konfused:

Re: Cell phone

This is not only limited to our culture. It is the same everywhere. I see seven eight years olds with Blackberries.

Re: Cell phone

convenience and a tool to keep urself busy.

Re: Cell phone

I personally don’t think small kids should have a mobile phone. Maybe once they’re 10 or 12 and even then it should only be for emergency situations.

My little brother (who is 19) has a postpaid plan that gives him 1000 minutes of free talking time and 1000 free SMS every month. I could not even use that up in a year, but he usually does it in 2 to 3 weeks. And then gives everyone missed calls for the remainder of the month. :smack:
