Re: stains and raw silk
In general, I think the faster you treat stains the easier they are to get out
I never tried getting stains out of raw silk, but on a few delicate suits I have gotten stains out like this: cover the stain competely with baby powder, like pour a big pile over it. Then cover with a thin cotton cloth and very slowly run an iron over that place, over and over again, give it time for the powder to soak in. Then shake off the powder and wash the stain gently with water and detergent. It has always worked perfectly for me so if you dont find any other method, maybe you can try this
If you want to dry-clean but are worried about ruining the kaam, maybe you can ask them to only work on the stain to get it out?
