Lee to Tendulkar, OUT, now thats something we don't see very often! Lee pitches back of a length, Tendulkar gets back and across in his crease, getting in line to play it across to square leg, but in the process he ends up trodding on his stumps ... he stands his ground as the decision is referred upstairs, even as Lee lifts his hand in celebration, and he obviously has to go ... talk about being caught on the back foot

India is playing an inexperienced middle order against the world champions. Dhoni is a sardar for sure.
Another one got yorked...poor kid came all the way from some village to play Lee.

Sehwag scores 1 century (or 1 half-century) every 10 matches.....and that seems to be enough to keep him in the hunt as far as team selection goes......the truth is he is a "lottery batsman"....such players should have no place at this level of the game.
We like to compare ourselves with Australia. If Sehwag was an Aussie, would he have played for the Australian team with this kind of erratic performance.
Uthappa has so far not disappointed me. The 1-trick pony had to be exposed.
I had high hopes from Manoj Tiwary though....seen him in domestic cricket and was fairly impressed.

The irony is that while India has recently developed a decent pool of bowlers (injuries notwithstanding), the batting cupboard is thread-bare.
Even if Uthappa, Tiwary , Sehwag etc are kicked out, I don't see any big potentials out there to replace them.
Also, most people seem to have ingnored the crappy bowling of Harbhajan lately. He has made headlines with his bat and of-course that incident with Symonds....but his bowling has been very disappointing. Piyush Chawla should have been given a chance in his place.
