The irony is that while India has recently developed a decent pool of bowlers (injuries notwithstanding), the batting cupboard is thread-bare.

Even if Uthappa, Tiwary , Sehwag etc are kicked out, I don't see any big potentials out there to replace them.

whatever happend to "Tondulkar"?

for a match to have a result - the second innings should complete 25 overs and then Duckworth Lewis rules would be applied to get the result.

so the match was tie

Dealing with a 4,23 RR and then let worship the rain gods and goddess to fancy a draw is a pretty brave option I must say.
