Most Masjids have a separate hall for these kind of functions. I have attended many valimas and shadies , in halls attached to Masjids and they were by invitation only any random person will not walk into those celebration. Anybody who comes to masjid to pray namaz is not a random person , he is guest of Allah and I will be honored if that random person joins in the party I am having at Masjid.

Yaaar, you dont need to justify gate crashing all those desi dawats at the islamic center, its okay, we are not judging.
