When you are angry, frustrated or just a thrill seeker you will go on damaging anything that comes in the way. When I was young, I used to wish something would happen to my school & we would get a few free days to play, it seems these guys took my dream to action!

Some people piss me off. What have Christians in Pakistan done to have their school broken??? Some of these idiots have no sense.
Protest against Denmarks newspapers and their states which allow this bull in the name of freedom of speech but leave innocents and those not involved well alone.
Reminds me of the idiots who were calling for another 9/11 and 7/7, sickos.

The best that can be said is that the protest are evidence at Muslims unity.
Get a little drunk with power and burn some stuff.
After the hangover, you realize that not a single job has been created, no child has been educated, the problems of the Muslim world still exist, and the distraction of spats with the West have taken energy away from things that might make some difference in peoples lives.
At the end of the day not a single thing has changed.

I am not for violence. And I am not for riots that do more harm than good.
However to ask people to take it easy and ignore it, and that it is very minor, nothing serious - only a cartoon. Its just asking too much. I think people have a right to be angry/offended at such things. You would be too if somebody went outto tarnish something/somebody you held dear.
But its shocking that you all think that this is not that big of an issue. Personally I would like to see some folks here get to the root of the issue. And give feedback on what they think could be done to prevent stuff like this. We all know theres way more to it than just a cartoon.
And if you think that the so called Muslims who are taking violent actions due to this represent the whole population who follow Islam...you need some serious education about generalizing.

Non-Muslims do not think it is a big deal. Do you freak out when you eat beef, worried that you will offend a Hindu?
Non-Muslims beleive that the reaction is worse than the cartoons, and there is very little you can say or do to convince us otherwise.
When there was a big scandal involving Catholic priests molesting children, do you think the Catholocs were spared any commentary? Of course not every Priest molested. It is unfair to paint all priests with the evil deeds of a few?
YOU think the issue is the image of the Prophet. WE think the issue is Muslim violence. That was the analogy of the cartoons, that is what someone wanted to communicate to you. Much like the crisi of the Catholic church, the ridicule will not cease until the problem is solved. The Catholic Church eventually began to realize that the solution was not to deny the problem and spirit away the priests to some monestary. Eventually they confronted the problem, and solved it.
Knowing the over reaction of Muslims, I anticipate more baiting on the issue, not less. Brace yourselves.

What I would like to see, just once, is an example that would be something a bit more than a joke. So I ask you to think it over and see if you can give me a reasonable example.
I am not trying to justify violence nor am I trying to convince you otherwise. I am simply informing you that it is indeed very sad when you can’t “understand” a people or their faith. I am in fact shocked that you want us to adopt an attitude where we shouldnt bother to speak up when we are offended.
I think the issue is exactly what I am talking about. It was about painting all Muslims as wild, violent blood thirsty creatures. Excuse us if we minded that particular stroke of the paintbrush.
The issue here OG is not about Muslims being violent. It is about people who make it seem so. It is about people who provoke a reaction, then sit back and blame it all on the people who tend to get angry when provoked.
Some people it seems, sit around to incite violence. You wouldn’t have had the Muslims reaction if somebody had not done something to get it. So kindly stick the blame sticker where it belongs. Again I do think that harmful actions in protests were wrong. But I think people who were offended had every right to be, and that cartoon was not just a lame attempt at a joke.

mmmmmm… and why does America think violence is the way to handle muslim countries? some muslim are only showing violence in response to the violence thier familyz are facing by America, do you know that 100’s of muslims are attacked each month by American troops, sisters raped infront of thier dads and brothers, guy beheaded, pregnant womens babies riped out of their tummies… iv witnessed it all happen. C uz only believe wot uz c on tv and see happening, but what uz fail to understand is that what u see is muslims taking revenge for what they are being put through. They don’t show on TV what really goes on in Iraq, Afganistan, Kabul, Bosinia, india… even UK.
***The only reason America is doing this is because Iraq and now Iran also have said that they want to sell their OIL in Euros instead of Dollerz, America will be in great loss in military and wealth facilities if Iraq or other countries start to sell OIL in Euros. America is dancing in Wealth due to the OIL being sold in Dollers and fears that this will have a very bad impact on them… they fear that they will no longr have power over other countires… But no no no, its ONLY MUSLIMS that cause violence in around the world, the question that should be looked into is WHY do they cause violence…because they are suffering day and night by the hands of America… ***
