I am wondering if anyone of you guys have done any research on the job/career opportunities that might be available in Bahrain related to commerce??? Is anyone here from Bahrain???

There are a couple of ppl here from Bahrain... but I think you'll need to be more specific about your query... "commerce" is too broad a category to comment on.

I would say more towards marketing, hr, banking or even gov't (public sector)

Thanks, i did check it out. it seems to me that, these jobs require more experience as they are more for mid-career kindda thing.

Anyways… in terms of a good online facility for job search, I doubt you’ll find something better than bayt.com as a mega job search engine for that part of the world. That being said, you’ll be better off if you have access to local listings through news and trade publications.
I’d suggest you contact armughal who is/was a resident of Bahrain. He may be able to suggest something.

Thanks, I will contact him soon. As for bayt.com, they had positions of a higher level, rather than for new grads.

That'll create a lot of clutter... even if there were 1 thread per location/country.
I'm actually working on creating an index of popular/most useful threads in C&A and this might do the trick (it will have major categories such as job seeking help ; relocation opportunities ; career advancement etc.) . I'll be posting it over the next couple of days.

did you take a look at other threads about Dubai?
The C&A forum is not as mainstream as some of the other GS forums but the ppl who participate here are generally extremely helpful - as long as you specify what type of help you need.
Commerce didn't really help... neither did listing all the possible Commerce related fields.
Tell us what degree you have, what concentration/major, type/level of work experience, level of work being sought etc.
This forum will give you a platform to talk about specific things... for other general things you always have google.

it's just that ppl who post in C&A for the first time sometimes expect a barrage of quick responses like the other forums which isn't the case since this section only attracts serious responses and the mods deliberately try to keep it that way.
