His family knew about us... His brothers told him to distance himself from me.. They thought we were not compatible... Someone's elses relation was already being affected by us in the family.
you keep on giving excuses to yourself that your relationship was affected by some other cause. Honestly the relationship depends on two people only. You and your better half. What I think and what 90% case is, he is bored with you now and he wont to anything to have you as his wife. Even if his whole family was ready to accept you he wouldnt, even then. If he still had feelings for you, or respected the promises he made, he would've done ANYTHING for you. His brothers, mother father wouldnt even matter. Trust me. So stop giving yourself excuses and stop denying the fact that he is gone and just let him go.
This point of his " you dont necessarily marry the one you love" , is utterly bull**** and pure selfishness. My dear one day after he is engaged he'll forget you. So just ignore him and forget him. Better yet kick him out of your life. He is a typical example of a perfect loser..jo mohabbat toh apni marzi se ker sakta hai magar shaadi sirf apni maa jee ki marzi se he karey ga. I pity the mentality of such men. Dont hurt yourself anymore.
and the thing about you talking to HIS mother? Ya Allah ki hogaya hai? uss ne khudi apni maa jee ko kaha hoga k aap usko reject kerdien takay mere uper koi ilzaam na aye.

BSB: In love people cannot see things/situation/circumstances of future. I totally understand your feelings for your guy but it looks to me that your guy doesnt want to take stand for you, which is pretty disturbing fact in your relationship. If he was truly in love with you, he would work on all the related concerns of his family and make it possible to proceed with you, but he is in reality not interested in you. As you mentioned that he was rejected by your family, and you cant blame him for that because he was already moved on and proceeding with another girl. You may weep/cry/sob, and that is understandable because you are not closing his chapter in your life. The best you can do is to share your true feeling to one of your close sibling and ask him to help you in moving on. You need to socialize with friends more frequently and involve yourself in healthy activities and participate in community work. Take the advantage of this bless month and ask Allah to make your heart peaceful. Read HQ's response, Allah doesnt want you to be with your guy and He wants better one for you. You are mashaAllah young, attractive, beautiful and educated and I usually dont praise like that to anyone. I hope you will try to change your thoughts about him and take a break of few month and inshaAllah would find a good guy to whom you could say proudly that he is the guy who truly stand for me.

Guys tell me , everyone knows ones family quite well, then why on earth the stupid guys get involve n on the mean time they say k "sorry, mere maa baap ne mere liye bohot kuch kiya hai, main apni mrzi kr k unko dukh nai dayskta.. " the stupid guys know k things wont gonna work for the particular lady/girl then WHY N WHY ON EARTH THEY GET INVOLVE N TAKE IT SOOOOO FAR FOR THE GIRL N MAKE IT TOO HARD TO GET BACK OR NORMAL...???????????

Guys tell me , everyone knows ones family quite well, then why on earth the stupid guys get involve n on the mean time they say k "sorry, mere maa baap ne mere liye bohot kuch kiya hai, main apni mrzi kr k unko dukh nai dayskta.. " the stupid guys know k things wont gonna work for the particular lady/girl then WHY N WHY ON EARTH THEY GET INVOLVE N TAKE IT SOOOOO FAR FOR THE GIRL N MAKE IT TOO HARD TO GET BACK OR NORMAL...???????????
