I am really hurt because I cant let go off someone I truly love… I believe he is going to get engaged/married soon… Can love hurt you this much or are we able to change perceptions? I have been in love with this guy for 7years. I NEED HELP… HELP ME!!!.. I have tried everything to forget him but he still holds a special place in my heart.

He can't marry me because of family reasons... I probably hold something in his heart but not enough to stand up for me. Nothing works to get him to become a real murd... I AM VERY HURT... I HAVE BEEN HURTING IN THIS SEPARATION...

whats the point of one sided love?if he loved you too..he'd make sure to end up with you as well..
you wont forget him..but the intensity of your feelings should decrease with time..hopefully!

Yes, he did explain me... He said parents do a lot for us... I am being double standard by telling him how much I have loved him throughout my life.. I told him Allah has give us rights in marriage. The family is against it but he never stood up to back me up... He doesnt want to go through that process... Yes, family is a reason for him to not stand up for me... He acts like a stranger to me.

He is my true love.... I still love him the same way. However, I do have lot more paitence from the time of breakup.

He has clearly stated that he doesnt want to understand me. I find peace in my prayers and namaz.... I truly love him. Sometimes, I feel I might die if I have to see him sitting with someone else as his dhulan.

The problem is that he is chickening out on me due to family reasons. Have you heard of giving Qurbani? We have family issues from status, education, and involvement of other people. I think he does love me. He says it is not necessary to marry the one you love. Most people get married to someone else not their lovers.... I'm having hard time consuming the reality.
