Um, you can believe in the 12 imams and still not believe in the "caste" system. Thinking that you are morally or socially or biologically superior because you can trace your lineage back to an imam is pretty narrow-minded (and this is coming from someone who can do just that).

What GIDSA said. You may not believe in the concept of imamate which is your prerogative, but to turn around and say that Imam Ali, Imam Hasan and Imam Hussain A.S. and the other 9 imams were not related to the Prophet (saw), well I'd question what you've read.
