Almost $4 billion in foreign investment last year, economic growth of around 7% the last few years, and I just read that Pakistan energy requierments are increasing 10/12% per year, that energy consumption is going to much more than palaces friend.

What if there is another coup in Pakistan, then what. To save his A$$ Mushi will make a deal with US Government, give them Osama and get asylum in US.

You know what US forces had ample time to stop the al kayda byatches from escaping afghanistan..they failed miserably. tell the military to do its job properly.

USA was concered by encountering heavy casualties in the mountains of Tora Bora so thats why they send in the Afghan militias and not their special forces.

The only reason coup happens is because either the government is totally corrupt or the economy is tanking and the current leadership isnt doing anything about it

for pakistan, the economy is prospering, people have money, etc...

Your reason are right - so you think the govenrment is not corrupt and that everyone is happy. And how many tiems have there been coups in Pakistan before. Everytime people thought there won't be another one.
Another reason for coup can be that some army/ISI official becomes powerful and want so to have more power (Just like what Mushy did)

They were "concerened"? You mean they lacked the balls to send in soldiers on foot to find the man who was responsibile for killing 3,000 US citizens? All they could do was carpet from from the safety of those b-53 bombers?

well if a fraud like Zia-ulhaq can last for 12 years then mushy deserves a lot more.coup could happen if there is a rift within the army for example over the situation in waziristan where a lot of army juwans have lost their lives fighting fellow pakistanis and some al-qaeda.Musharraf obviously being aware of the delicate situation in waziristan has ceased the army operation and entered into a truce with tribal leaders there.

Well its a war buddy, there will losses, heavy or light. But US did and still does have the most advanced military technology available whether in the air or in stratosphere or the land or the seas. They chose to rely on the ragtag Northern Alliance militiamen to find the man that killed 3,000 US citizens. Then came the British and they said that all the so called Al CIAda fighters have vanished or didnt exist in the first place.
