Burka Ban

Re: Burka Ban

I agree every guy is lusty- it is natural but we all shud behave ourselves when treating women and leaving aside some incidents, Pakistan is not bad... have u been to Lahore or any part of Punjab? I was reading somewhere that India is worse when it comes to eve-teasing, abusing women etc.. why blame Pakistan?

Re: Burka Ban

oh wow..right..okay listening to women and taking their opinions DOES NOT make you a woman okay???? a lot of them is not all of them and maybe the ones u talked to had good experiences but when i went there..it was different...and do not judge her from where she lives...that is just low

Re: Burka Ban

yes I am Pakistani, i have been to Pakistan, and i am going by personal experiences, not heresay or imagination. You can doubt my being Pakistani all you want, but I'm not going to say it's this pure sugar land, wehre absolutely nothing goes wrong and everything is perfect there. That's not true of ANY country whatsoever.

Maybe all the women youve spoken to who are happy with how things are in Pakistan are desensitized to these things, that's entirely possible, spend as much time in one place possible, you start to get used to it and not really notice it anymore. So just becuase they're used to it, doesnt mean its not there at all.

Pakistan and Islam are two different things. Islam does protect women and give them rights, but Pakistanis (as well as other cultural groups) dont always carry that out and you're seriously deluded if you think that we do.

Re: Burka Ban

The Question Sara my dear is that how do you feel about the Dutch employing a law that would cease the barbaric practice of the burka and liberating the women there, certainly the right step to combat extremism and certainly preventing the stone age practice of covering up, dont ya think?

Re: Burka Ban

If you quit being so sarcastic and patronizing me maybe i'll answer your question.

Re: Burka Ban

Hmmm, interesting, it was meant to be sarcastic and aimed at the secular pro-ban anti-muslim guppies, but not be to patronizing.

Re: Burka Ban

uneducated people who even dont know that Burka was a part of islam or not... yes it was and it is and it will be... and now I am not getting into debate......

Thanks :)

Re: Burka Ban

Maybe they are also becoming hardliners like KSA where the scene is totally opposite anyway it's their country and they have the right to change their law anytime they want, the people who don't like it tough luck.

But to implement this they have to admit openly that they are not liberal anymore and do not support the right to choose stand.

Re: Burka Ban

not it wasnt...it isn't...never has...and it never will be..before saying something please get your facts straight

Re: Burka Ban

get some education about islam you will get the facts :)

No more from my side.

Re: Burka Ban

and you please get some education too...tradition and religion are two different things...please do not get them mixed up

Re: Burka Ban

atleast this thread shows how low phoren-based Pakistani women(sara and secret et al) think of Pakistani men.. Since ours is a male-dominated society, there's a lot of blame thats routinely directed at the men

Re: Burka Ban

^^ will you get over that already

Re: Burka Ban

Kiyoon? Aapne menu koi sabak sikhana hai kiya?

Re: Burka Ban

The problem is that a lot of women are forced to wear burkas from their family members and some muslim men seek to subjucate women by telling them to stay indoors and wear burkas while going out.

Second, the burka induces a policy of isolation and sepratism and failure to assimilate in the host culture. By banning it they hope that it will empower Muslim women who were forced to wear it.

As for Denmark and Holland's immigration policy. They have every single right on who to bring and who not to bring to their coutries, after all its their country.

If they feel that immigrants must accept gays, lesbians, be perpared to accept public nudity and banishment of religious items, then so be it.

If not, then why immigrate there?

Why go to a place where you are not welcome ?

Re: Burka Ban

Europe is not anti-Islam but rather anti-tribalism, anti-feudalism, and anti-Jihalism

These Jihals who have infused Islam with Tribal Customs to create a hybrid version of Islam so that it justifies their tribal actions while giving them a religious excuse to continue to do what they want to do

And when these idiots immigrate to Europe, they bring this garbage there as well and then what do you expect when you go from the most conservative and backward societies on the planet to the most forward and liberal. There is going to be a clash.

I mean what has Europe gained from allowing these people to move in there in the first place?

Wouldn't it had been better off it had let Russians or Eastern Europeans come instead of Arabs and Muslims?

Re: Burka Ban

ps: the dutch are not going to vote about burqa ban in 5 days, but for the general parliament.

Re: Burka Ban

Are you kidding me? Are you telling me that you think the women of your family are that stupid that they can't do their grocery shopping without you?

Re: Burka Ban

^^who would want to be "escorted" by someone with his mentality?

Re: Burka Ban

Exactly!

Those people who wish to live a conservative Muslim lifestyle are obligated to move to a Muslim country. Its the role of the minority groups to assimilate to the majority way of life. These nations provide us with freedom in a degree most Islamic countries do not.

I fully support such a ban in the interest of inter-ethnic harmony.

Moreover Islamically, if one is unhappy in a place, they are obligated to make hijra and move.
