Thanks ziggy, I'm happy for her to use whichever colours she prefers and even kaam, but it's more the actual style, as I'd like a lengha that's split at the front, with a big gher and a tail

^ no problem Tigerlily - I'm sure she won't have a problem with your preference of cut and style, although I noticed she was highly recommending Farshi ghararas with long shirts to clients including myself.
She's great with colours and kaam, so you shouldn't have to worry about those things when it comes to her.

Does Bunto design anything besides Farshi? All her bridals I have seen so far are farshi types and are starting to seem very similar. Does she do lehngas or normal ghararas?

bunto does other normal gahraras and lenghas. ive ordered a dhaka pajama with her for my brother in laws wedding which is next yr jan. she wouldnt take an order for teh girls bridal and valima and one outfit for all us family.
after seeing bunto things and seeing teh bride wearing them i feel one should go really traditional and bunto does a wowee job but shes started charging alot.
she showed us this beautiful beautiful out of thsi world shawl all hand embrioded everywhere u coudl not see an inch of kapra on it. when we asked teh price she said only 300000 , hath ka kaam hai na heheh
btw if anyoens interested buntos daughter wore thsi beautiful diamond jewellery on teh valima from hassan javeri ufff what a beautiful necklace and earrings wowee

sgc shes very heavily booked she did take the order for an earlier time and said im taking orders for nov dec 2009 and onwards teh bridal and all :) shes really busy and all she also has teh most beautiful jamavar which u can also buy from here she charges u 2000 per yard for it but its sooooo soooo sooo good bext time anyone goes check out her jamavar section

^ Bunto is now officially booked till Jan 2010. She said she couldn't take any further orders for Nov/Dec.
I know which Shawls you're taliking of - I was shown a couple of pictures of ones that were commisioned and were in the 3 lakh range. She was creating them with simple silk outfits and they were so damn detailed - Inspiration for some were taken from books she had researched and were paintings/muriels.
I'm really familiar with Hassan Javeri - his jewellery is gorgeous and he seems to be Bunto's family jeweller.
ugh, that is really a bummer....Bunto is booked! I thought Bunto would be booked 8 months prior...not almost an entire year! What would you guys recommend as the next best thing? Is there another designer that you can guarantee a stunning outfit from?
For me, Bunto is good because you can be minimally involved and she can recommend colors and styles and it will turn out nice. I guess the downside is a lot of the outfits are starting to look the same (to me anyways)...
