^ Hey SGC - yes i'm back, and boy did I need that break. Believe it or not I didn't visit Bunto on this trip...We had a little detour to Dubai from Karachi and spent all our holiday money there! Having come back penniless, there was no point in visiting her, lol.
All I know is that the delivery date for the outfit is set for June and everything is on schedule, but I think we'll definitely get the outfit before then.
I did however pay a visit to Faiza Samee and saw a gorgeous gharara for the Wedding day - I'm just waiting on pics of the outfit, so i'll definitely post them for you guys :)
Hows was your trip to Pakistan - shopped till you dropped! :)

zigs, i did indeed shop a lot! it was way fun!
i was in dubai too but didn't really shop there- i found it really pricey this time around and didn't spot anything that i really coveted... we really should have met up. d'oh.

Tell me about it - I saw some great boutiques from Italy (none of the big designer names), which had super gorgeous sandals that were to die for! I would have probably needed a loan to bank-roll my spree!
I wish we had met - Gina, you, me and a credit card to kill!
By the way, Bunto sent an email recently saying that she had started work on the duppata, which was supposed to be alot of work and that they've cut the fabric for the rest of the outfit. I'm supposed to get the order in May and i've got to say that I just can't wait to see the final thing!

^ those pics were taken from a magazine by me on a mobile - The problem was that the pics were so small in the magazine that after having blown up the pics, the overall quality became blurry!
I remember seeing Bunto's daughter's wedding pics in Libas magazine years ago. She wore a lovely orange and emerald green gharara. I have kept all the magazines but I still cannot find that particular one. If someone has a picture could you upload it please.:)

thanks to the incompetent darzi, all my clothes are in dubai! :( wahhhh... mom's getting them fixed and will bring them when she comes over iA in JULY! gah! its so frustrating.

Can someone tell me how quickly Bunto can complete an outfit? Also If I give her a vague style, would she be willing to work with it? What are her rate's typically for a bridal?

^ Depending on how busy she is, she can take upto 6 - 9 months.
She's quite indepedent when it comes to the design process, but she'll definitely ask you about your prefrences and will probably have alot of her own ideas to add as well.
Her bridal wear rates typically start around the 2 - 2.5 lakh mark.
