Agreeing with what SGC said...if you have the budget, do it.

Designers care about what they're giving you because you're carrying a label - their reputation - when you walk out with their clothes. You pay not only for top notch quality but also the experience of working directly with the source. They pay attention to every detail and spoil you as a customer. Most of their business is word of mouth (Bunto doesnt have a running website because she doesnt need one). Advertising is done through their clothes and brides' experiences. And it works!

Im not trying to put down copied outfits. There are some unbranded designers out there that pay close attention...Ive had really good experiences with a GS designer (stoppit) too.
