She got her dress from Dr.Haroon and i think he did a great job ..I recently went to wedding of my friend she got her baraat and valima outfits from Dr.Haroon and trust the valima outfit was totally different from the baraat ..I have posted the pictures in Dr.Haroons thread you can view em ....Where are you getting your makeup from ??
@giggles: Did you order your valima outfit from bunto aunty as well !! If yes you're lucky :)
As for jewellery is concerened i would advise Chottani's ..I went to naurattan as well but thr is a huge difference is designs and making ..I didnt like naurattan tht much though :(

@giggles: thanks for the tip!! i didnt want to walk in with a 2lakh budget and have bunto crack up laughing ;) her work is no doubt stunning! might just go with dr haroon since he charges slightly less than her and i would get more kaam for that price! lets see will keep u posted!

my weddings in dubai but my valima is in karachi so i'm thinking of going to aliya tipu at allenora because i want smokey eyes! bina khan and shamain are very good for a natural look tho!

I went this december in a wedding where the bride looked horrible and the make was done by aliya tipu lol ...i hope everything turns out great as you want :)
@alyshba - No, sadly I'm not! Even though I would have loved to! But I will be going for either Sana Safinaz or Tauseef Hussain instead, more reasonably priced for a valima. Btw Shamain and Bina khan are good choices, but do make your booking in the coming weeks, or ask when you should make it by, so you don't end up losing that time slot! By the way, have you decided where to get your jewellery from?
@sourskittles - No problem! I just checked out the pictures in the dr. haroon thread...that light blue and silver jora alyshba put up is to DIE FOR!! You should wear that!! BTW Aliya Tipu did my engagement makeup and I loved it, and her customer service is amazing, she really made me feel like a princess that day. I know people here on GS bash her a lot, and everybody had warned me not to go there but I'm glad I did!
@giggles: Go for sana safinaz for your valima hun !! I called shamain today she said i can make an appointment in june for october wedding as she is already taking appoinments of dec/jan for brides !! I am getting my baraat jewellery from Chottanis ... Thr jewellery is to die for hun ..
