Did anyone see the Brunch with Bushra show with Roohi Bano? I think Bushra Ansari crossed a line there.
She invited Roohi Bano knowing well her frail mental state. Then she asked detailed questions about her son’s murder to make poor Roohi cry on air. What a cheap exploitative trick for ratings! Truly shameful!

I dont have same respect for Bushra as I used to have few years ago. First of all she needs to give up on looking young. She is no Samina Peerzada and she should admit that.
And yes, just to bring more sensationalism in her show, she crossed into someone's personal life. That is extremely rude. Roohi Bano's son's murder is a very sensitive topic for Roohi. You are right, the lady lost her mental state because of the tragedy, and to exploit that and use that as ' the hot topic' is extermely shameful on Bushra's part.

Not to be OT or anything but i have seen so many people who do this...they pry into your personal life, even about something so tragic...just to make conversation. Very sad.

Rohi Bano seems like a well educated person and her current state of mind may not be fully stable but i am sure she is bright person and wl come out of this soon. InshaAllah. My prayers with her.

This is sad.....extremly extremly sad. But don't you guys think if Roohi Bano didn't wanna talk about her son's murder she would have requested them ahead of time NOT to bring it up during an interview?
Ps: Does anyone know how long it's been since her son is gone?

Sajal, I am not sure that in Pakistan media, a questions printout is given to the guest in advance so he/she would know what questions will be asked. Its host's responsibilty to chose the topic wisely. I can guarantee you that if it was Anwar Maqsood, Naeem Bukhari or even Nadia Khan, they would never bring up that topic.

She was suffering from schizophrenia. She went into depression after her son was murdered over a property dispute- but the culprits wer never caught.
She's quite well educated with a Masters in Psychology. As an artist, there's anybody who can match upto her in pakistan or abroad. I would rate her higher than even Katherine Hepburn. She's one of those actresses who have depth in their performances. Check her out in Kiran Kahani, Darwaza, Kanch Ka Pul, Na Qafs Na Aashyana, and various plays written by Ashfaq Ahmed and Aapa Bano Qudsia.
I hope she recovers fully but at this stage she shouldn't be called for tv interviews .Tv producers tend to exploit her illness for ratings - it's extremely callous and unethical behavior on their part. Bushra seems to be a very reasonable person not sure what made her do this interview. Only she would know best.

I remember when Najma Mehboob got killed in a horrible train related accident during a shoot, PTV decided to give her best supporting actress award. During the award show, PTV director or some other big shot was suppose to give it to her 8 years old son. Guess what was his only statement to that poor kid who recenetly lost his mom. While on the stage, he put his hand on that boys head and said 'Betay, ammi yaad aatee hain?" … 
What kind of sensless, forced. moronic question was that man. You could not come up with a batter line?

Cant believe how they have been exploiting Roohi's situation, that Farah particularly shocked me with her lack of tact.
In both interviews Roohi Bano expressed her wish to make a comeback into acting and also pen a script for a drama, does anyone know whether she did make a comeback?

did anyone see the tribute and respect she gave to Roohi? she gave her the protocol an artist of Roohi's caliber deserves. Bushra is neither a witch nor an idiot. she asked a question that would have been reasonable had Roohi been well.
Pakistani ppl are unbelievable. when it comes to their own artists, the expectations are sky high. but when they watch third class smut from across the border, then sab chalta hay...

Rohi Banu must have allowed them to ask such questions... warna they wouldnt have talked!!! or if Ruhi wasnt comfortable they would have cropped this part!

I just watched the whole interview of Roohi on Brunch With Bushra and now i think about it, she isn't in the wrong, the interview was heading in that direction & was unavoidable. Bushra Ansari has interviewed countless celebs so she's experienced (and is a household name herself) so words such as 'witch' are really inappropriate.
