Re: British police arrest "Baloch Liberation Army" terrorists
Yes, Musharraf has brought quite unprecedented economic and infrastructural development to Balochistan, never seen before in the history of Pakistan.
Yes that is true. With Gawadar port being developed, the amount of benefit Balochistan will get will be unbelieveable. Balochis sure deserve all the the development they can get after decades of neglect.

That is what the BLA terrorists wanted to sabotage in their campaign of bombing and murder, but it was firmly defeated by the Pakistani army. Now I am glad that the British govt is standing by Pakistan on this matter as well.

Well, the British govt. and other Western countries will continue to standby Pakistan, despite some people asking these countries to isolate Pakistan and put sanctions on the country that will hurt the people. However, the West knows how important President Musharaf and Pakistan is to them, hence they will continue to support Pakistan.
Re: British police arrest "Baloch Liberation Army" terrorists
The Baloc are scared that most jobs and opportunities will go to the outsiders. In Pakistan you normall need contacts to get jobs, somethig I m guessing most normal Baloch wont have.
I dont know what exactly has been developed in Balochistan but I did see some new roads around Ziarat LOL

Re: British police arrest "Baloch Liberation Army" terrorists
As much as I would hate to see Pakistan ceasing to exist I guess you have a point.
Who on earth wants to live in tyranny? Who wants to be exploited? We the citizens can change the way of thinking and hopefully bring out a more egalitarian society.
And you can have the free gas, we dont want free gas at the expense of Balochis.
Independance is what will happen if people like you dont change yor ways...
If Pakistanis cant be treated with the respect they deserve, then Pakistan has no right to exist.
Pakistan must earn its right to exist, and that means provinding its people respect, which is something the govt has not done in the case of Balochistan.

Balochistan was becoming a battleground for regional rivalries, and that is how the Baloch terrorists acquired their weapons. But the Pak Army and Musharraf has firmly put an end to that, and stamped it's authority on Balochistan, and at the same time pumped unnprecedented amounts of development aid into the province.

The same has happened in Karachi where a more than capable population isn't given consideration in jobs but it is instead upper country unskilled people who come under the infamous "quota system".
But you could see in patriot's and other tones how they try to justify what is happening in Karachi. After all, it is the free roti pani that is at stake if quota system is changed.

Pakistan was created so that the Muslims of India could have the freedom and respect they deserve...
If Pakistan fails to live up to its own Raison D'etre, then what right does it even have to exist?
Joining the Nation of Pakistan wasnt a black check... The state is obligated to following up on what it promised the provines.
No wants to see that happen to Pak.. But how long can oppresive empires or nationas last?

HYPOCRITES!! :)
You are ruling in Karachi and your ruling in Sindh...
Go back and read what you wrote... That without you Mohajirs, Pakistan business would be at a standstill... That implies that Mohajirs are well off! You contradict yourself... If a group can have that much impact on the country, they must be pretty powerful...
As for not getting a job, maybe its because you dont meet the qualification! Maybe you should work hard like your hero Musharaf and you too can become leader of the country!
And if your so upset about not getting a job, you should complain to Musharaf, who after 8 years in power still hasnt given you what you deserve! Despite being from your community, despite having full control over the country, he still doesnt care enough to look to solve the suffering of his Mohajir brethren!
Anyways, to me, Mohajirs comparing their "suffering" to the Baloch, is like a guy driving around in Mercedes trying to comapre his problems with the guy at his window begging for change... I just dont buy it sorry... But if you think your suffering so much, why dont you take your case to the Supreme Court? Oh Wait, there is none!

There is potential in Gawadar, but thats not what the Baloch are asking for.. They need something immediate, because they dont trust the govt in the long run.
Confidence building measure are whats needed... The situation is very delicate and deserves the attention of someone who understands these people. They have to be handled with kid gloves, not with an iron fist as Musharaf would perfer...
After all, how often has the iron fist worked in Pakistan?
Re: British police arrest “Baloch Liberation Army” terrorists
Mr. Napak, I am furthest from the spoiled rich kid image you have for yourself. Didn’t you say your cousins interrogated BLA walas meaning you are an army connected family and richer?
Any spoiled kid would care less about such issues. But seriously what is the use to talking to you??? It is like asking yazeed to respect / honor Hazrat Hussain [raz] and take bayt on his hand..
Re: British police arrest “Baloch Liberation Army” terrorists
Iron fist??? Where was your beloved self and family when paki army brutally treated bengalis in 1971?
I am still ashamed to say how many pakistanis gloat over what our army did in E. Pakistan and try to justify it. I never read you taking up the case of BLA last year or even couple of months ago? Did their struggle just dawned on you?? If you really care about balochis that much then next time come out on the streets and protest when your home province decides to starve the balochis by banning interprovincial movement of wheat!
Re: British police arrest “Baloch Liberation Army” terrorists
More insults.. Is this how your parents raised you?
Brother of my Brother In Law… He is a Captain in MP.
We are from Chakwal area, so its the heart of the Army so to speak.
My Family arent all well connected, this guy is the exception… Mothers side are pretty close to lower middle class… Being hit hard by inflation these days…
Fathers side doing relatively ok in Sindh, some migrated to the US and England.
So no, not all well of and definently not well connected.
But definently dont talk to me, but I suggest that you learn to control your temper before you begin to debate people… People will repect you if you show them respect.
Now you can go hunt for a job and curse the wicked Punjabi for stealing it from you:hehe:

Is it karachi walas crime that they are smart and educated? Does that mean their businesses should be nationalized and thousands of youth are killed since it is an operation against MQM? I wonder how did MQM survive if everyone that was killed was its party member?
Keep up this sick narrow-minded hate filled behavior and soon karachi will also join balochistan in saying good-bye to Pakistan!
Re: British police arrest “Baloch Liberation Army” terrorists
You do some time in army and you get cheap / free land plots and what not so believe me you are better than what i had in pakistan. I have lived as neighbours to army walas and am strictly against putting army walas everywhere in pakistan since seeing their corruption there but i won’t go support BB and GUnja devil just because of it.
PS If you don’t believe me, ask anyone around the airport area about PSPC in karachi..
Re: British police arrest “Baloch Liberation Army” terrorists
My point of view has changed alot… Even then, months ago, I thought the BLA had a cause that could be justified… Mush had the potential to resolve alot of these problems, but the more I think about it, the more I have come to understand that Baloch deserve the same rights as we do and we should support them as they are our fellow country men.
How can we as a nation claim support the rights of Kashmiris and others, if we dont extend the same respect to our own people?
And I am here protesting my home province… But your the one defending the injustise against these people, and your not a Punjabi, your a Mohajir.. So before you start pointing fingers, take a good long look in the mirror and ask yourself if you arent part of the problem..
You are just as bad as any Punjabi, yet you have the aydacity to point fingers! Please!

I dont have anything.. The Land we have was a remnant of land we got way back from the British...
Most of my family have no land...
And dont make assumptions, im not supporting Gunja or BB.
And if your so upset with the Army, blame your Musharaf for perpetuating the problem... 8 years in office and it was he who put Army people incharge of civilian institutions... All this corruption you speak of has been compounded by your Mush...
Wreaks of Hypocracy if you ask me... Always ready to blame the invisible Punjabi big brother, but never readyt to blame your fellow Mohajir even though he is the one calling the shots!
Re: British police arrest “Baloch Liberation Army” terrorists
Getting rights is one thing but a sardari run outfit [sardars themselves part of problem] is another. Going by that logic, I should support MQM since karachi has genuinely suffered under quota system and nationalization [hard facts].
Did you know that 6000 youth were brutalized by BB under the garb of MQM operation in hyderabad in the nineties? I had to listen to these facts from, guess what, my balochi friend. Didn’t they deserve equal rights or NOOO because they aren’t Pakistanis? Ever wonder why educated pakistanis want to leave in droves from Pakistan?

At least he has done something for karachi unlike BB and Gunja. Though, I would credit gunja for doing development in PUnjab [Lahore i know of but other cities as well?]. Musharraf also started gawadar and restarted saindak etc. to which BB has tried to claim as her initiatives recently in the news...
