Instead of sticking your head in the sand, why not tell me an alternative for the Baloch in the face of a dictator who refuses to listen to them, kills their leader and continues along as though its bussiness as usual? If balochistan becomes indhepundunt, your overpopulated Punjab has the most to lose [revenues and cheap gas not to mention area to test nukes] so quit harping about nothings. Truth always comes out under pressure. Being pro-punjab used to equal being pro-Pakistan not that long ago. Now that we are slowly moving away from that, people like him are threatened and will go to any length to malign Pakistan by bringing in bad news from any source they can find.

2 reasons:-
balochis never migrated to karachi as much as sa pashtuns, punjabis did.
as long as balochies did nt leave the slums like lyari they were not a problem.
He is what you call a keyboard anarchist. MQM has had better relations with Balochs than the ANP or PML types do. All prominent Balochs have at least one house in Karachi.

The MQM has poor relations with everyone and hopefully its voters will desert it in favour of the slightly less violent parties.
If the BLA can be considered terorists then the MQM should occupy the top slot on the list.
Its a shame people like Altaf Hussain are not arrested who have caused far more trouble in Pakistan than anyone else put together.
Many Baloch will still accept Pakistan if given their due rights. If people want Balochistan to be a part of Pakistan still then they really need to look at the siutation from the baloch viewpoint. Echoing an unfair government's views will make the Baloch hate you more.

Ironic indeed that Altaf Hussain and his party claim thats Altaf would be in danger if he were to reaturn to the country..
Yet, BB, who we know is in danger (the terrorist attack on her party), still had the courage to come back and lead her party, same with Nawaz who is probably under close scrutiny by the intelligence people...
The closest Altaf has ever come to Pak, with his "visionary leadership," was when he was in India declaring Pakistan a mistake!
I think what Mush has done may affect them way in the future, but by then it may be to late... They need something more immediate. We need a hands of approach, faciltate the local govt and keep a low profile.. And ofcourse, autonomy...
There was a list of demands that were negotiated, 26 points or somthing like that, but the govt never implemented them, even though it was their initiative to begin with... Obviously, it was the govt that went back on its word.
So no surpirse if the Baloch dont trust Mush.
