Re: British police arrest "Baloch Liberation Army" terrorists
We had no respect in BB or Nawaz time either. The West has its own agendas..
Well, you get points as struggling democracy... But how much respect does a country that is ruled by dictator, who runs a country of poverty stricken illiterates, who treats the constitution as toilet paper get in the world? It sad really...
And you guys need to get over the 90's. Circumstances were very different at that time.. And just because Pak democracy failed then, doesnt mean we abandon it...
Because what is the alternative?
Re: British police arrest "Baloch Liberation Army" terrorists
well the peaceful baloch dudes should not have been a part of an outlaw organization.
The BLA is fighting for the independence of Balochestan that was illegaly annexed by Pakistan in 1948. Balochestan had declared its independence on 11th August 1947, before that it was a British protectorate. When the AIML adopted the Pakistan Resolution in 1940 its president was a legal advisor to the Khan of Kalat and fighting a constitutional war for the independence of Balochestan.
Re: British police arrest "Baloch Liberation Army" terrorists
Even many of those Balochs who had in the meatime accepted it to be a part of Pakitan have now turned against it and support BLA-thanks to the unprecedented exploitation of Balochestan's resources, subsequent killing of its people and deprivation of their rights.

They can join the long list of other minority militant groups that have been unsuccessful in their endeavors: ETA, PKK, IRA etc.
I support the rights of Balochs which have been usurped by the Pashtuns and Punjabis, but independence i.e. disintegration of Pakistan is not a realistic or desired option.
Re: British police arrest “Baloch Liberation Army” terrorists
He is what you call a keyboard anarchist. MQM has had better relations with Balochs than the ANP or PML types do. All prominent Balochs have at least one house in Karachi.

Khekashan, your logic is so full of holes you can drive a truck through it..
You dont even know what this conversation was about.. Go back and do some reading.
IM not touting the Punjab line.. Im actually asking that the Balochi people be respected.. Somthng that your beloved mohajir general and dictator has refused to do..
And you for some reason, while you love to lambast Punjabis with your racist comments, refuse to see a problem in your own general/dictator towing the Punjab line?!?!
And if im the Anarchist on the key board, then your one in real life.. Or are there still some MQM people left who havent gotten a criminal record?
Re: British police arrest “Baloch Liberation Army” terrorists
Instead of sticking your head in the sand, why not tell me an alternative for the Baloch in the face of a dictator who refuses to listen to them, kills their leader and continues along as though its bussiness as usual?
I mean, do you even have a response, or are you just here to just start arguments?
